Post subject:  Journal of CG
Hoping this will be some kind of journal for me getting back into PUA, please add as much criticism/opinion/encouragement as you wish. I wont take anything to heart.

My first real voyage back into the 'pua' mindset after a long relationship was last Saturday.

Hawaiin BBQ

2 of my mates were having a hawaiin themed BBQ as a joint bday. So obviously I went in full hawaiin shirt, beach shorts and the biggest flower garland I could find.

So, I turn up to the party with about 8 people already there, (about a 50/50 boy/girl split). Everyone is already well on the way to getting hammered and I only know 3 people already there. Not going to lie, felt pretty sheepish, like everyone is thinking 'whos this guy?'. Weird, I was never like this before.

I generally felt like that, trying to just get little sentences in here and there, but never really dominating conversation like I would want to.

Pretty soon though, the shots are out and im pretty hammered, I had caught up with everyone else and felt a lot better. Im usually not the kinda guy that needs alcohol to be confident but it definitely helped on this occasion.

The more I drank, the more confident I got, the more conversation I made, the better I got on with the girls there.

The night even escalates to me and one mate ending up naked in the hot tub with 4 girls, sounds a perfect situation right?

But I couldn't escalate it from there, I could have a laugh and thoroughly enjoy myself, but actually closing on one of these girls just wasn't happening. I just felt my mates had a one up on me with them because they previously knew them.

All in all, not a bad return (an awesome night), but I couldn't take it that step further.

Anyway, hope this doesn't bore the hell of everyone.
