Ladies and Gentlemen, Starting today, I will be posting a daily journal to talk about how my day went for self-assessment in order to maintain or improve anything I've encountered during the day. I will post this not only for myself but also to educate others so that you can learn from my mistakes. A little introduction: name's Val, aka Psycho, not cause I'm a psychopath or psychotic but one of my favorite movies is American Psycho and I've used this name in online gaming. I would say that I'm quite a confident guy. Very good at holding conversation, can demonstrate high values, decent looking, easy going, well-spoken, subtly conceited man. I've been studying game for some time now. I've read The Game, Pandora's Box and other self-improvement books such as How To Win Friends and Influence People and Think and Grow Rich for both business and personal development purposes. I am 21 years old who aspire to be a business man. I am currently in first year college, working in my college's Marketing/Promotion team wherein I promote in campus events and what not. I've mentioned that I've been studying game but for these past 2 years or so, I haven't been able to really maximize my productivity. I started studying game right when I started talking to this girl who later on became my girlfriend who in turn cheated on me when she moved to Uni. No big deal, I'm over it and if you ever get in this situation or been in one, suck it up, big boy. Shit happens to good people. I'll be winging this journal and I'm open to criticisms. The context of this journal will be the following: Goals How my day went Lessons Cheers, Psycho |

Feb 11, 2014 Goals Approach strangers Give genuine compliments Hold conversation Close Report 1.) While I was buying coffee today, I saw a girl wearing cheap monday jeans. As soon as I realized this, I automatically thought to myself, 'hey, I like those jeans.' Do I compliment her or nah? I manned up, I asked her 'those jeans are very nice, what are they?' even though I knew the answer, I just asked her to double check. We talked for a bit till she left. She was a lesbian. 2.) As I left class, I saw a girl I met at an event a couple of weeks prior. HB7. That evening, I was grabbing beer. She and her friend were at the bar grabbing beer as well and as the bartender gave my drink, I gave them cheers. She was a cool, easy going girl. She asked for my name, and asked for hers and shook her hand. I talked to her for a bit but I don't usually give girls who give me indications of interest much attention because I'm a play-hard-to-get kinda guy. That's something I want to change about myself. Before I left, I told her I thought she was really pretty. She said thanks. So I told her, I'll see you later, I'm gonna go to my friends. As I was about to leave, she tells me I'm good looking. Bam. IOI. I walked away with a grin in my face and said thanks. I meant to find her that evening but it was a concert and she was all the way at the front and I was drunk as fuck that I couldn't find her the rest of the night. So today, I saw her, asked if she remembers me and said, 'Oh the guy from the bar!' So we talked for a bit but I had to leave to do some homework with another girl so I told her I worked for the school and when there's a good event, we should hang out sometimes. During this time, she was also very touchy with me which is another good IOI. I asked for her number and she's been texting me. (I'll speak more about my text game with her in the future) Lessons 1.) People love compliments. Compliments should consist of 3 things: I love your ______, it looks really good on you (whatever makes sense), where did you get it from? This statement not only give the other person a chance to say thanks, but it also shows that you have a reason for liking it (genuinely) as well as a corresponding answer to carry on a conversation. From there on, you can just talk about anything that comes in mind. 2.) Talk to ANYONE. It doesn't matter if they're hot as fuck or lesbian or gay or young or old or disabled. I'n my case, I've still got some approach anxiety so I'm working my way up but if you're starting from the bottom, you may be able to skip some steps, but it's more comfortable to take it slow. There is no rush, you have bareee time! Get comfortable with all kinds of people because you will eventually meet all kinds of unique personalities and it's always looks good to be a person that gets along with everyone! |

Compliments dont get you laid bro. Work on your closes. Work up gradually text close, kiss close, and f close. Try running routines and openers that don't involve giving compliments. In fact, compliments are an AFC move. Texting isnt really a close unless you can escalate and get nude pictures from your target or transition her back to your place. What you have are hopes and dreams like many AFC's. |

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep that in mind.Texting isnt really a close unless you can escalate and get nude pictures from your target or transition her back to your place. What you have are hopes and dreams like many AFC's. Lesson Less compliments, more routines! I'm doing this girl I work with right now and she won't shut up. |
