| Post subject: | Grocery Store Pick Up fail! |
I made several attempts to pick-up at the grocery store today when I was shopping. The store environment was sort of awkward and unlike the bar or club scene. My approaches failed horribly. I heard of PUAs using a routine of reading items off their grocery list to pick up HBs. DOes anyone know this bit off-hand? Do you have any suggestions on good openers or routines in a grocery store that wouldn't make me seem like a creep? |

Hi, how are you? listen i was curious about something: can people become friends in grocery stores? i mean you always hear about people meeting at bars, cafes and parties but some places you never hear about it. Like busses, trains and grocery stores. Are you feeling friendly? |

If she opens, go on to a transition. if shes still closed off you can say "well thats one way to treat people.." smile and walk away. if you have more trouble it might be your body language and voice tone |

too many moving pieces.....no true isolation......and i dunno just a lot of cockblocking. you need to look your best and demonstrate value right away. |

Don't use routines in day game, it'll come off as creepy and/or weird. Go direct. Only way to go. |

I disagree with this. To clarify, every routine has it's time and place. Using it poorly or improperly can make you come off as weird. But routines can be just as valuable in day as they can be at night. Check out DJ_aka_donjon's posts as good examples. I too have sat down at coffee shops and used routines with success of getting dates afterwards.
Go direct. Only way to go. |

"Do you floss before or after brushing?" You would do all of that crap, instead of saying something like, "Hey, this is completely random, but you were gorgeous, I had to meet you." Indirect in day game just doesn't make any sense. |
