Background: I'm a 17-years-old student from Finland. My passions in life, who also consume too much of my free time, are football, fitness/gym and performing (Altough nowadays I don´t have time for it tough). How I got into the community I´ve always been a wuss with the girls and many times I've left myself wondering why didn´t I make a move when I clearly should have. A couple of months ago I finally got fed up with myself and found my way to the community. What I want from pick-up/life I´ve always been a dreamer and I've always thought that someday everything would just fall in its place. Recently I´ve realized that its just a BIG FAT LIE. To get what I want in life I, have to fucking get out there AND MAKE IT HAPPEN. My development in both pick-up and school have stalled due to me being too lazy. Now is the time to change that. My dream is to become a journalist but if I won´t change my ways in school its highly unlikely that I'll get to the place of study that I want. I have one year left of high school before the matriculation exams and now it is the the time to raise my bar. In picku-up, every time that I've tried to day-game, my mind has suddenly gone blank and I´ve frozen without being able to even open. That has to change. At the moment Im not even worth the title rAFC since I havent even had the balls to open to a girl even once. Short-term goals -To man up and grow some balls -Become more succesfull with women -Getting out of my comfort-zone -Stop freezing when sarging -Start to daygame Long-term plans -Get to the Uni. of Helsinki - Achieve an desirable lifestyle - Enjoy life and travel the world - Become a man of reason All the hints and tips that you guys have to offer will be gladly taken and supporting my journey by reading/commenting will serve as an extra-motivation for me. So this is my story and the beginning of my journey. I know the change won´t happen overnight and sometimes the road will be hard to walk on but hopefully I´ll manage to overcome the hardships to achieve my goals. Haha accidentally I submitted this when I was supposed to preview it |

Finally the time to update my journal. I haven´t had the time to do any PUA-related stuff, since I´ve been really, really busy with school( still have 3 exams left this week). But to the point! 2.4.2013 Day 2 For the past week I´ve studied like crazy, leaving my house during the day only to go to the gym. Today I finally went haywire and decided that its the f'ucking time to do something else to freshen my mind. After a bit of thinking I decided to go out and do the newbie mission. I´ve failed twice while doing it but as my confidence has been pretty high for the last few days, been getting some compliments on my looks, I felt capable of finally killing it. When I finally arrived to the mall I was feeling a bit nervous but I managed to draw out all my motivation and started to do it. As the amount of my greetings grew, I noticed that also my AA gradually diminished. At the end of the mission I had no problems saying "hey" to strangers. This may be only a small step forward but atleast I´ve finally started moving! Even though I didn´t banish my AA completely, this definitely was an excellent mission to do. I´ll probablu be doing newbie mission a couple more times to get rid of my AA for once and for all. Oh and as I still have exams left I´ll update my journal the next time just before my birthday, which is next week. Thanks for reading! |

Bravo son! The newbie mission is a great thing to do, congratulations on leaving your comfort zone! If you really do it again you should raise the bar though. Meaning don´t just say hi, add something like "Are you having fun?" or "what did you buy?" or add a short comment like "nice outfit" "that´s a huge bag you´re carrying"...Just observe who you´re greeting and add something harmless according to what you see, that might lead to a little conversation here and there. You´ll see that many will actually stop to have a chat! At the end of the day you will notice that you not only opened your first sets that way, but you´ll also learn that anything you say can be an opener and that it doesn´t have to be super-original at all as long as what you say or ask is genuine The newbie mission is great to reduce AA, however you´ll notice that in the beginning of your journey you will never get rid of it entirely, actually a small amount of AA will stay with you, but you´ll learn to handle it. I like the fact that you are not neglecting school because of PU and that you realized that you have to give your best there if you want to get ahead in life. You can motivate yourself obviously, and if you keep that up you won´t fail. Not in life and not in PU! Keep us posted on your progress! You seem like a smart kid, I´m totally rooting for you |

Thank you guys! Your positive feedback really means a lot to me So, finally the exams are over and its time to get back in contact with real life! 3.4-9.4 a Brief summary As I haven´t had any free-time I haven´t done much PU-related stuff but I´ve done some simple things here and there. As you guys said, after the newbie mission I should raise the bar a bit and that´s just what I´ve done. For example, on friday me and some random HB both missed the bus. I felt like chatting for a bit and opened by saying how irritating it is when a bus comes ahead of schelude. We chatted for a bit and it was pretty nice to talk with a stranger, refreshing perhaps. So I´ve done a couple of similar things and managed to, once again, lessen my AA by bit. Nothing spectacular but still some useful stuff. Perhaps I´ll soon be ready to start opening with the intention of getting proper conversations. Oh almost forgot. Last weekend I was in a birthday-party, where for a couple of hours I was the only dude. It was a good experience. As I was the only boy It was easy to be in the centre of things and it was easy to open to about 10-15 unfamiliar HB´s and maintain conversations with them. As a bonus I wasn´t drinking, so I didn´t have the chance to rely on alcohol. Its something that will serve me good. As I mentioned last time, Im having my birthday this week. Finally 18 lol Dance-floors on clubs are SPAM the strongest part of my game, might have something to do with my dancing skills I´ll keep you all updated and write about my saturday on sunday! To the next time! Ps. Could you perhaps recommend me some PU-related books to read? So far I´ve read: -Magic bullets -The game Neill Strauss -The attraction code - The Attraction code -Im currently reading "Double your dating" but Im a bit skeptical about it |
