Post subject:  Short first field report, any tips on proceeding?
So was getting a few drinks with friends, when I met a girl I hadn't seen for 6 months last night at a bar, I talked to her for a while and she kept complimenting me, telling me how I looked like Johnny Depp, Liked my tattoos etc. I think I responded well But unfortunately I was baked, so I couldn't get get out of being mr comfortable to try and escalate! At this point I saw 3 or 4 girls who I knew they all kissed and hugged me. Seemed liked perfect timing and i looked like the shit! :mrgreen: This is where my problem came about, the girl was clearly jealous and I was sort of ignoring her to talk to the group of girls. She started seriously flirting with this other guy, and although I wasn't there when it happened, they kissed for a good minute.

I was pissed off at the time, but when she text me saying "hey there Johnny Depp" I decided I needed to keep my cool and act like I wasn't phased by her kissing someone. So we flirted a bit when texting then I fell asleep. I have woken up with a serious hangover/stoneover, which was a bad idea, but I am feeling positive about the night in hindsight. :D

So how should I proceed? I don't think I should bring up her kissing the guy, so I can act like I couldn't have cared less.(dhv) As getting pissed off and jealous won't get me anywhere right? I was thinking of taking her to this classy jazz club, and really try and escalate?

Cheers for reading guys. 2013 is the year I plan on turning my luck with girls around and focus on improving my game!

Just thought I would add if people think it would be better to go with her alone to the club? I am still a bit of a newbie, so I am concerned my game will be terrible with it seeming like a date, rather than 3 or 4 firends catching up.

I don't get it. Why, if she was complimenting you and obviously really into you, did you dilberately freeze her out? No wonder she was pissed. She was giving you all the signs and you turned round and just started ignoring her. You pretty much made it easy for any other guy hitting on her.

Anyway. She has text you. So ignore the night before, and start again.

Don't take her to the club. Ask if she wants to go. When you get the drinks, make sure you say "first round is on me". Make sure you aren't qualifying yourself to her buy buying her affection.

But it sounds like she likes you, so it's your job to not mess this up... again.

I maybe worded that wrong, I had 4 girls all talking to me so I wasnt meaning to ignore her, I just got caught up in conversation. I thought it looked good that 4 girls all wanted to to talk to me and I wasn't giving her attention. I think I just got the balance wrong hence what happened, In a way it did work as she got seriously jealous!

Did you introduce her at least? It does seem like you got the balance wrong and seemed to forget about her. Learn from this.

Well they already knew each other from high school last year, but were not particularly friends. Next time something like this happens I need to include her in the conversation.
