So I was hanging at a my friends flat, there's a mixture of male/females in the flat, there's 6 of them, 2 of them are in a relationship, 1 has a girlfriend outside of the flat, and the rest are single, One of the single girls stood out to me and i was feeling attracted to her for some reason, an just the other night we were watching horror films and she came over and sat next to me with a blanket, and she started rubbing her foot against my leg subtlety.. and i knew that was possitive body language, so i made sure i was allways touching her in a non sexual way as you guys teach us to do.. And then later on in the night her ex boyfriend turned up drunk and she slept with him.. So in future, what could i do to escalate ?

In my opinion, she probably wanted to get back at her bf. In that case, foot rubbing is a way to sexually escalate. I would have mirrored her actions to see how she responded. If she doesn't mean to put out, then the foot rubbing is a form of cock-teasing. See what you can get away with. Put your arm around her. If she squirms, back off. Otherwise she's giving you some good signals. If she puts her head on your shoulder, thats a form of escalation. You can then kiss her on the forehead, if she responds to that then your good to go make out with her. If she doesn't squirm after you put your arm around her, put your head on her shoulder and see where that goes. If she doesn't do anything positive, then it ain't going anywhere. Though if she'd put her arm around you, then that's a good sign. Physical escalation in my opinion in separate from cognitive/ emotional escalation. Though the point behind the cognitive escalation is to get her comfortable to begin the Keno shit. You could say that cognitive escalation enhances Keno, but it's not everything and certainly not a substitute.
