Ok guys, a few things I learned this weekend, when I took a trip up to the University of Florida for their game against lousiana state: The straw man technique WORKS. I used it 2 different times and so far I'm getting good results, I was talking with this BEAUTIFUL redhead, which if it wasnt for her body being an 8, would be a solid 10. She was a 9 for sure. We had a table in the second floor of the bar, outside, it was 4 guys, we had two empty chairs, which rotated with girls, girls left, girls came and sat down, it was great. I'm still trying to figure out if it was the positioning of the table or our body language that attracted so many girls (7 girls came and sat at our table in the course of 3 hours, one 3 set, and 2x 2 sets), so if anyone wants to indulge in that, please go ahead. Anyways, started pretty easy, just striking conversation, started negging a little early but to good response, so I kept going. This was with her friend, let's call her ARI, she was a solid 8 blonde w/ blue eyes. After abour 30 min of conversation, and literally ignorning the readhead for most of the time, casually sending her a neg, I saw that she had a free spot next to her. so I "went to the bathroom" and came back and sat next to her, she immediately opened conversation. We started talking and talking about school and the game and the city, fluff talk. I used the wonderful technique of mirroring and went along with the talk, while slowly INCHING closer to her. I eventually had a cigarette passed to me, which I offered to her once it was lit, I didn't ask, I offered. we started sharing a cigarette, while engaged in conversation, this is when I started the serious, deep eye contact. we talked when she eventually brought up her boyfriend, but I could feel the dismissiveness in her voice, so I immediately went Straw man: "he must be a cool guy, tell me about him." "Nah, he's not that cool, etc etc etc" it worked. we talked and shared that cigarette, me mirroring her, I could feel her getting lost in my eyes, I had eye contact, we had been slightly but increasingly kino-ing this whole time, quick tap on the wrist, moving too close to her hand when passing the cigarette, which made our hands touch. We had rapport, now it was just a matter of sealing the deal. I was 2 minutes away from asking her to "get out of here" and go for the final Kino when her drunk friend "had to leave' because they were in a 3-set, and both her and her blonde friend were being entertained, while the less pretty one(about a 6) was kept bored. My wingmen did not come through, they failed me. We were 5 guys in total, 3 were engaged in conversation(2 with the blonde and me with the redhead) and the other two didn't engage the third. It sucks, but it happens. More stats from this weekend(though that was the only interaction where Rapport was built, the rest don't matter) 16x Phone Numbers over 30 approaches, always (2) or (3) sets. 2x Flirty Texting 2x Set up to see when I come back.
