So I thought I would start a journal on here regarding my experiences with pickup after doing the silly marriage thing and it all going to hell (long story lol). Might be a long first post, but I want to document the main "events"
The split happened nearly 3 months ago now, and after the usual back and forward trying to fix things up, then finding out I was being led on by her the whole time about a month ago, I've been polishing up my act. Being out the dating and pickup scene for almost 6 years, I'm a bit rusty and in all honestly, I wasn't that good at it before. My ex-wife was/is a HB9, so a tough hill to climb to match her (in looks at least, the rest is easy haha), or maybe so I thought...
A couple of things to point out, which I've realized over the past 4 weeks or so....these days I am a different person, 6 years ago I had little confidence, and had AA whenever I had to talk to women I didn't know. Nights out consisted of me standing on the edge of the dance floor doing the "beer dance", and I stumbled across my now ex-wife by complete accident.
Fast forward to today, and even though her leaving etc has certainly dented my confidence and ego, there is still MUCH more there than there was before, I guess doing well in live and having a HB9 wife that did all the chasing in the beginning helps confidence no matter what.
My main power point I think, is my humor, I can make anyone, and I mean anyone laugh within seconds of meeting them...so I have been calling upon this a lot recently.
So here's a brief of the past 4 weeks, of the main "events" and the results.
Girl 1
2 days after "officially" deciding its over with my wife, me and my pal head into town on a night out. Not looking for any women, he was just helping me out and to have a good time. He's a player himself, and does pretty well, nothing really to look at, but he has cheek and charm I guess. We see these 2 girls sitting at a table and he tells me to go and talk to them and get back on the horse. I was hesitant, but hes persuasive.
I give in and notice that neither of them have drinks, one is a HB4 at BEST, the other is a HB8...my pal agreed to "take one for the team" if required
I stroll over, sit next to the HB8 and just ask her why she is sitting in a bar with no drink, and that in some countries it's illegal to do so and she might get arrested...instant laugh
Conversation flowed nicely, lots of laughs, high fives, IOI's etc they were all game to come back to my place, then some other mates of theirs turned up and cockblocked the shit outa us.....still....not a bad first shot!After that night didn't go out much for a week or so, I started some dancing classes and got to know some really nice girls as mates, but there's no game there with them, got fella's and after what I just been through I refuse to steal someone elses missus unless they absolutely deserve it.
Girl 2
I was wingman this time around, helping a pal get over his split up. Basically he saw this chick he was interested in, got talking to her, and I entertained her mates. One was a HB7, kinda hit it off with her, usual routine, make her laugh a lot, ended up f-closing that one
Girl 3
Online this one, got chatting on a dating site, really nice girl, bit older than I would usually go for, pretty face, fair body, ~HB7. Met her after a week or so of chatting, 3rd date f-close. Kinda left that there as she wasnt really my type, even though should would of pampered the shit out of me...didnt excite me that much and had baggage.
That basically brings us to last night...I was in the mood for it and on fire if I may say so myself.
Me and a few pals had arranged a mid week night out, student night in the town here on a Weds, cheap drinks which is always good. I did all solo last night, no wing, even though I was with the guys, I went for the women on my own.
Girl 4
2 girls sitting at a table in a bar, HB7 and HB8.5...taking photos of each other, you know where the camera gets held out at arms length. We were just leaving when I spotted this, but I went over and offered to take a photo for them...HB8.5 she joked and asked if I was going to run off with the camera, I said only if its a bad photo. Took the photo, made a move as if I was going to run off. *Laughs* she asked where I was going after, told her then said I gotta catch up with my buddies.
About 10 mins later them 2 and 2 more HB7 girls turn up at the place we had gone to, they got drinks and sat at a table. Now, I'd never approached a 4 set before, only ever 2 sets, but I figured as I had already connected with 2 of them, I might as well shot it out.
I walk over, grab a chair next to the HB8.5...got a "Hey photo man" and went from there, did the usual talk to the lesser HB's, switch it back, she was asking lots of q's IOI hair stroking, touching my arm, made some cracking jokes, all of them laughing. Number closed that one
Girl 5
This one was stunning, HB10 no messing, and it was a perfect, yet simple opener. She was sitting with some pals, with a sash across her....I walked over, moved her hair from covering it...it said "It's my birthday"...so I sang happy birthday to her in the middle of the bar haha
Got some looks that did, but she was loving it Sat with them for a good 10 mins, then took her for a dance. K-closed on her. Told her where I was going later on and gave her my number.30 mins later, got a message, "where has my birthday entertainment gone?"....she came to the bar I was at with her pals, more dancing and other stuff. Was great, she was incredible AND fun so will certainly see her again!
Other notable events of the night, a HB8 stroking my face telling me I was gorgeous....number closed her. A HB7.5 in the smoking area, got talking to her, no number close here, but she said shes always out so I better say hi if I see her around.
So yeah, that's where I am right now, last night was an amazing boost, as the HB10 confirmed that I CAN do better than my ex-wife in terms of looks and that I shouldn't be as worried about her being "the best I'll ever do" like I had been.
