I've been a designer for years and in the past year and a half i've gotten into professional photography. I've found it does wonders for my game, but at the same time keeps me from getting a ton of pussy. On one hand, the simple mention that i'm a photographer is instant rapport and i've had girls hit on me the moment i mention it. Meeting gorgeous models is as simple as logging onto modelmayhem and asking one if she'd like to shoot. On the other hand, my professionalism is at stake if i ever made a move on any girl i've ever shot with. Reputation is everything in this industry and i can't afford to look like that pervert with a camera. (even though i am a pervert :p) So at this point i'm finding it hard to draw a line between personal and professional life. Its not really a matter of what i find acceptable but what the industry finds acceptable. I'm treading softly because i don't want to ruin such a great job... If theres any other photographers out there who have dealt with such a dilemma i'd be happy to hear your opinions. |

Wow, really? NO ONE? No one here is a photographer? You're all pick up artists, you enjoy beautiful women, you want your life to revolve around them, and yet NONE of you are photographers. I can't believe this shit. xD LMAO and here i was thinking every guy who's dated a model ended up taking pictures for a living |

Hi MrFeelGood, I'm no photographer, but however, i do have a conclusion for you. "On one hand, the simple mention that i'm a photographer is instant rapport and i've had girls hit on me the moment i mention it." With reference from your quote above, it's good that plenty get IOI's from that but don't rely it too much. Try to add a little bit of flare and creativity, I'd suggest cocky and funny. Reputation? Whats there to be scared of? You could differentiate between working hours and fun time right?? If you do then you'll know what to do. Example, first you open the target, do the photoshoot with that particular woman. Then make an 'After Set' which you take pictures with her having fun (making happy faces, sad faces, etc - Apply kino while your at it Cheers... |

here in Stockholm is hard to stand out as a photographer, musician, film maker, etc etc... no one gets very impressed because everyone does something like that either for living or in their free time.. But is always good to say because builds rapport and common points to talk about. I was working as a club photographer for both rock clubs and high-end clubs and I tell you...that´s a gold mine.. you talk to every single girl in the club and get numbers, close pictures, numbers, emails, make out with some..etc etc. I destroyed my Canon a year ago but I´m planning to buy another one and get back in business. |

Hell yeah it is. Actually i was doing event photography at this show out in redlands where i met this girl Laura. We shot together a couple weeks ago, she was so excited when i showed her the pics that she hugged me and gave me a kiss. If her friend aubrey wasn't there at the time i might've fucked her on set... Wish i had actually, she's blown me off twice since then.
