| Post subject: | Shepard's Log Day 1: 2x Brunette HB 7's |
Everybody has to start somewhere. At least tonight was my night to start. I had met up with a group of my friends earlier in the evening, four guys and two girls, and I was just planning for a relaxed night out -- no peacocking, no sarging. I was wearing a form fitting T-Shirt with blue jeans and cowboy boots that lifted my 5'4" frame ever so much, with a black puma hat to top it off. Nothing fancy or eye-popping. In our group, the ones to note are: my wing "M" and my fem-wing "J" Waiting in line, our group seems to recognize a girl that happened to walk by, apparently a good friend to everyone but me. With her were two girls with little black dresses, high heels, and tan, shapely figures. This was my three-set, and I'd be damned if I didn't try. Upon seeing them, I turn so as to position my backs to them, talking to M, J, and everyone else. * I actually did not talk to them until we got in the bar and I had gotten drinks, which was much later. So much for the three-second rule. Approaching them, drinks in hand, I shouted over the din of the bar, "Alright, I got two drinks here, and I'm not going to finish these by myself." I look towards one of the obstacles, a pretty Redhead SHB 6, and hand it to her. She didn't question, she just took it. Lesson Internalized: If you command the situation, you control the outcome. I used the Jealous Girlfriend Opener on the Target (A bubbly brunette who was very open with me) and the Obstacle (A reserved, younger looking girl who was used to being hit on). It worked to strike up conversation. I used the Aura line "You have this incredibly fun aura around you, and I like it." And after observing them a bit more, I used the Angel/Demon scenario "You look like the bad one, and she's the good one. You can be the devil on my shoulder and she can be the angel and we can walk down the street with you whispering in my ear." What I used worked very well, but I feel that I spaced out each bit too far, and was neither consistent with the body language I wanted to convey, or persistent to keep their attention . *Throughout the night, I only used one neg, which was when they interrupted me and I said "You two are so rude, quit interrupting!" They giggled, but I should have negged the target more. Using ESP tricks would have been great too. I have a Battery trick where I can move batteries from a seemingly possible hand-scenario, but I didn't get a chance to use it. M and J were helping out as much as they could, with M handling the obstacle and J talking great about me whenever I left. Sadly, it wasn't enough, for the two-set decided to go dancing at another club (the red headed one decided to stay with my wing M. I find out later that they wanted us to come with, but since my friends were busy getting their third round of very strong drinks, they left without us. I spent the rest of the night babysitting two gentlemen who couldn't hold their liquor. It was tempting to find a way to trip them over and over as we made our way to the car, but I didn't have the heart to make up some bullshit story about how a carriage horse kicked them in the face repeatedly. Overall, this is the gist of what my nights are like. Here's where I know I can improve: -Employ 3 Second Rule -More Negs -More effective body language, from approach to comfort-building -Use intriguing tricks. -More Kido -Have a tighter set-list, keep the flow steady. I'm definitely looking for more notes to take so I can improve. My wing M blamed the girls for being stuck-up prudes, I feel it was just because my material needed vast amounts of improvement. Granted, I wasn't planning to sarge tonight, but that shouldn't be an excuse. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
