Post subject:  Seattle Westlake Daygame FR 05/19/12
Went out later in the afternoon today to meetup with someone in the Seattle area that I found through a larger forum. We went downtown and met up at Westlake and walked around doing some day game. Only a few opens today, but my goal was opening more easily and just having fun. Direct game. 4 sets, 1 #close, 1FB close

Set 1: On the phone walking
Saw a target across the street, waiting for the crossing light, walking towards me. I didn't say my opener fast enough, so she thought I was asking for something. I did say my opener, "I just saw you and I had to tell you that you're attractive." Stood in one spot and kept on talking. She stopped but was still in her path of walking away. I think she said, "Someone just did this across the street." and just walked away. I just said bye and moved on. Thought what she said was weird for a second tho...

Set 2: Two Korean Girls
Walking with W, the 20 guy I just meet a few minutes before, I saw two Korean girls walking straight towards us. I opened with, " I know this is random, but I fell in love in one of you..." Reaction was the two looking at each other laughing and speaking Korean. I just keep on talking

They haven't really talked other than to each other and to answer simple questions, so I introduced W with an accomplishment Intro. He has been standing to the side, away from the set, but still seen... Felt this DLV'd a bit. Seems like they were giving IOIs from smiling and everything, so I went for number just cause.

Me: "I think you're cute and would like to talk you another time. You should give me your number."
They talked about it for a sec
HB: "I'm only here for only a short time though..."
Me: "That's even more reason we should hangout, you should enjoy your remaining time here."
They had a thinking look on their face, then I said
Me: "I'm very charming. See you guys are laughing. I promise nothing but good conversation. If we kick it off on the phone, then we can meet. If not, then no problem."
The target motioned for my phone and I took it out and got her number

Set 3: Non-HB Asian
W went to open someone, so I just saw someone infront of a flower shop smiling flowers and started to talk. Wasn't attractive but stayed and talked for bit. Talked about her being Chinese, and what she was doing today. She had to wait for her piano coach for an hour. I went on about playing guitar and asked if you got calluses from playing piano. Took her hand and felt her finger tips. No negative response so felt that was good.

I recognized I could bring her to an instant date, but I realized I wasn't attracted to her. When she asked the flower shop employee a question, I just left and looked for W

Set 4: 27 year old Korean FOB
Me and W were walking back to West Lake center to go to the food court to get something to eat. Didn't make it inside because saw a seated one set and I just sat down and opened directly. I had to speak slower so she could understand. Was direct the whole time. and closed her with FB because she her phone was from Korea. She was waiting for her cousin for dinner. When her cousin arrived, her cousin was a college student, closer to my age, and more attractive... When I saw her, I realized I may have made a mistake. From there we parted.

Lessons

Say opener faster or pre-frame with "I know this is random", so target does not think you're asking for money or something
Can walk away from a set if I wanted to
Learn more daygame

Questions

What do you do with girls that don't invest in the interaction, but they seem attracted to you?
Was there anyway to have avoided or make Set 4 better where I was more attracted to her cousin than I was her, after I have already been direct with her?
Should I even call or try to interact further with any of these closes



None of the closes felt solid. I don't care that much, but I will prolly try for a day2 with the Korean #close girl. I realized I work better with someone watching me cause when I'm alone I wouldn't normally approach, but when I was with W today, I felt no AA. I think this comes from more competition side of me and wanting to show off haha. This isn't good because right after me and W said goodbye, I didn't open sets I knew I could have...
