Hey guys, This is my first field report from Toronto. After reading the book “The Game” last week I became really interested in the PUA stuff. I read the entire book in few days and was fascinated by Style’s story. Found this forum after that, joined and started reading all the material and stories on the forum. It is an amazing community! After a week of looking around and reading all the materials that I could get my hands on (which is a lot to absorb in such a short amount of time) I decided to give my game a shot. It totally sucked lol, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be either :p lol I am a good talker, I can talk to girls, people, DHV, build attraction as long as I don’t give a fuck, the second I think about fucking them everything goes into shit. Right now I can’t control it, as long as I think I am trying to pick them up I stall like a fucking used car in a cold stormy day. I just need to practice, practice and practice. So here is what went down. I go to gym 3 days a week and there are TONS of HBs in my gym. I usually keep my head down and workout as hard as I can, never think about approaching or gaming anyone there or anywhere for that matter because I just didn’t know how to until now. In the gym there were few HBs, I guess because of the new year; usually its packed. I noticed a HB6, we made eye contact a few times which was nice, I felt very confident and dominant. During my sets I locked my eyes on hers from the opposite room which is separated by a glass wall and at times I caught her glimpses at me. BUT I couldn't hold my eye contacts long enough though. I don’t know why when it comes to these things I get shy all of a sudden; and also I have a serious problem smiling to HBs. She was doing some warm up routines in the glass room. I didn’t think of approaching her until I noticed she was pretty much following me wherever I went in the gym; as I’m doing my sets I notice her in my close proximity. One exercise after another so I thought to myself this can’t be coincidence I must open her. Between my sets I was thinking how to open her. Couldn’t come up with shit Luckily as I walked towards an exercise machine to use it, she got there a few seconds earlier and start using it; I walked away and used another machine until she finishes. I use another machine and guess what? she start using a machine next to me; so I opened her by a crappy opener. ME: excuse me are you done with that machine? HB: Oh you wanted to use that machine? ME: Yes please HB: No I have one more set, I will just go and finish it, then you can use it. ME: Ok thanks. As she went to finish it I followed her and we talk a bit of bullshit about the weights and she left the machine for me to use. I stalled, I didn’t know what to tell her to get the conversation going, usually I talk shit if it was a normal situation but not this time...fuck...so I went doing my business, finished all my exercises. In the meantime I was just thinking how I can go to her and continue where left off. After I finished my exercises I said fuck it, I can’t really think of anything I will just go in and say something and we’ll see where it will take us. Surprisingly I had little AA after I opened her earlier; so I went in, she was texting someone on her phone, I approached her from behind (ya at that time I forgot that it was a bad idea to do that) so I started the conversation HE: hey (wait until she acknowledges my presence) HB: hey HB: did you finish your routine? (with a soft voice - I should have been stronger, but looking in her eyes strongly, she had beautiful eyes though) HB: sorry? ME: ( repeat the same shit with a squeaky pussy voice ) ME: what are you doing here tonight you are pretty much the only chick around the gym HB: sorry? (by now I know I fucked up - so I made my voice much stronger after this) ME: ( repeat the same shit again and the fucked thing was, the gym environment wasn’t even that loud - fuck I usually am so fucking loud I don’t know what happened there, one thing that I can think of maybe because I was tired. I wasn’t nervous though) HB: oh, ya today I was suppose to go to a class that got cancelled (smiling) that’s why I don’t have my shoes on (probably she felt a bit embarrassed about it) ME: hmm...that really sucks ME: are you coming to the gym often? I've never seen you around before HB: ya I didn’t come to the gym for like a month (laughing) ME: so what’s your goal coming to the gym (this just came out of nowhere, I didn’t know what else to say) HB: I have a back problem I come to gym to work on my back...(bla bla bla) ME: hmm...that really sucks, did you have an accident HB: no...(bla bla bla - her phone rings and she says excuse me and turns her back to me, so I know I fucked up, the phone got cut off and I just didn’t know what else to say just looking at her, and she is looking at me, few seconds of awkward silence and she told me HB: ok i gotta go see you around (with a nice smile) ME: k see you (smile or maybe not..can’t remember) After that I just walked out and went home to write my first ever field report! Post Analysis - I didn’t sound confident at all like I normally am, I should come stronger and be more confident (while in a set I fuck up) - I had no game whatsoever (didn’t know what the fuck to say, no negs, no laughs, no funny stuff..nothing....zip) - I was not smiling and just looked really seriously into her beautiful eyes - She didn’t ask for my name - I felt I just didn’t have a good game to # close her so I didn’t ask for her name or # closed Feedbacks and next steps! Guys please guide me here, point out my mistakes, give me feedback on how I can improve my game. I’m determined I want to engage her again when I see her next time. Worst case scenario she will be my social proof for the entire gym so I can open more sets successfully. I’m also looking to open a HB7 that made some good eye-contacts with me last week. Any suggestion is welcome. |

Hey Dude, Thats a nice field report! I should do more of these... I'm not an expert as well so I hope more people can give you better advices then Ill. First things first - you had the balls to go and talk to her, thats the 1st step and its very important. You just need more practise... I saw a very interesting and very basic post in this forum somewhere - its like steps of the game, I suggest you to do, it will improve your confidence. First work on the basics, openers, transitioning, attraction... one by one. That being said: Gather the largest amount of openers you can, write then down. Go to a shopping mall or a public place, and open all the girls you see. You can start just by saying "hi", as your confidence will improve you will start to use more openers and see which of them works better for you. The whole game is just about having balls (to go and talk to woman), confidence and practise, lotssss of practise! Hope I could help a bit! Cheers, Roro |

@Roro Thanks dude I’m actually a bit scared to use the canned routine openers because they may be used by other PUAs and I would absolutely fucking hate it if some bitch calls me out on them. So I went through the openers and routines and created different versions of them to make them unique, fun and interesting. Well at least that’s what I think. I’m an AFC so I don’t fully trust it...what the heck I’m excited to field test it and report back. Today I took pretty much all day reflecting on my first field report and I came up with a nice game plan. I don’t think I can use it at the gym though it wouldn’t make sense but I should be able to use it pretty much anywhere and everywhere on a day game. I designed it for single or multiple sets on a day game. Coffee shops, malls, restaurants...I’m gonna give it a shot one of these days and report back. Today I tried to go over my routine over and over again to memorise it and visualise that I’m talking to a two set HB9-10, I begin to feel this fucking pain in my gut and my throat as I was going over it and I spoke faster than usual, stuttered like a fucking ten year old kid who is pissed his pants in public....it was anxiety I think. It felt like a stomach cramp, uncomfortable as hell. My question to you fine PUAs is this, are there any exercises you can recommend to get me relaxed and overcome this problem? Any specific breathing exercises or anything similar. |

Also you game plan sounds very interesting, I SUCKKKK on day games, I get too shy... I guess I just need more confidence and practise, Im trying to get back to shanghai lair... Cheers bro! And if anyone knows any tactic to relax while talking to a girl please let me know too! |

You showed some real bravery with this approach, and failing after trying is no failure in this game. Think of every rejection as the ultimate gift, as it's an opportunity to become accustomed to pain and become a hero. Likewise, remember the formula: shyness + aggression = creepiness. |

@Roro For sure mate, it is not field tested though. Use it at your own risk..hehe..I'll pm you my routine, I have most of the steps in my head as I don't want to be reading it word for word from my written game plan. I can't wait until I get the opportunity to test my routine though...Also I made another routine for the gym next I see one of the HBs at my gym Keep it up mate, even one response from you guys encourage me to improve my game...so my hats off to anyone who responds! |

@thecrackler Thanks mate. I really appreciate your comments and feedbacks. I wasn't actually in pain after I fucked up...I felt really good that at least I approached. Hey Sniper You showed big bravery and courage doing what you did and just like the guy said that's the first step!! although I am a beginner 2 I know what have been perfect for this situation to use. You should have use negssss lots and lots of them First when she took that machine you should have said like "hey (Hair colour not a girl or anything just use her Hair colour as her name) You stole my machine and I am very bla bla bla about it" and you said that you noticed her following you starring at you and all that crap you should have went to her with some balls and said "hey girl are accdiently following by any chance cause I got that weird feeling that I have been follow in the gym lately and it all comes from you " After that You would have opened her in a really cool way and believe me the reaction would have been cool 2 cocky funny method was good in here! and BTW read more things to get your inner game stronger !! |

I have to really practice to get good at it, perhaps with HBs that don't make me that nervous. Really cool stuff man, thanks for the input. |

That is really good for a first field report. Here is where I see you messed up, you spent to much time trying to approach her. Try to put a time constraint on yourself, make it 10 seconds, after that you will build up to much anxiety and start getting second thoughts. Good luck out there! |

Welcome to the game man. I'm pretty much where you are. Just finished the book myself and am eating up all the other material I can get my hands on. I had a similar problem with my voice a few months ago (before discovering the community). I was at Target and a HB7 walked past the isle I was on (no one else around). She stopped right as she was about to go past, checked me out, and walked down the isle. As she slowly approached me she smiled and I tried to say something.. "Hi" in this case, but my voice was so low and mumbled it was sad! She slowly walked past and stopped, pretended to look at the same stuff I was actually looking at, stood there a second, then walked away! I was really pissed with myself after for sounding like a squeaky mouse, but looking back on all my past experiences now (after discovering the community) I can analysis and see what a wussy I was and how I can improve next time. My advice, don't beat yourself up. It's only a failure if you don't learn something from the experience. Focus on your inner game and fix any "limiting beliefs" you may have first. Your inner game has to be in order otherwise you will come across as being fake. I would have been really interested in trying something more subtle when you were separated by the glass because the glass can act like a protective barrier for the target. She was acknowledging you at that time. I'm focused on inner game and everything else outside of approaching at the moment (such as body language and any non verbal communication). Maybe I am being a wussy by doing so, but it is helping my confidence by tightening up all these other areas before working on routines. It's my understanding that words are only 3% of all communication. |
