This morning I dropped a girl of at her house, I've been gaming her for a while and she spent the night last night, but she is not the reason I'm posting this. After I dropped her off I was sitting at the bus stop waiting for my bus when this really cute australian girl sat beside me. We started chatting and had I fairly typical bus stop conversation but right in the middle of the conversation my bus arrived. Now our conversation was nothing spectacular there really wasnt even much mutual attraction but just the fact that we were right in the middle of something made it very natural to ask for her phone number and her very receptive to give it to me. I've never really been interested in "rules of the game" canned openers, and all the stages you learn in books of how to pick up women, I've always prefered things to be more natural. So I always looked over using a false time constraint as meaningless nonsense. I mean if your talking to a girl and its going well, why would you walk away? Well today I learned the answer. It leaves her wanting more and it creates a natural reason to get her phone number. This was just a normal everyday conversation, and yet when I got up to leave I could almost see in her eyes "wait, i'm not done yet..." Usually closing is a week point for me, I get nervous and just walk away, but I almost felt obliged to ask for her number because I was leaving right in the middle of our conversation, I felt absolutely no anxiety over asking despite the fact I had only been conversing with her for a few minutes. To summarize today I learned to things: 1. Always keep initial conversations just a few minutes 2. Have a reason to leave Now for some questions. I'm not particularly intereste in day game, but do the same rules apply to night game? If i meet a women at a bar should I just talk a few minutes and then get her number and leave? I mean it makes perfect sense to do this, but doesnt that kind of limit the chances of the beloved f-close? I would love to see some discussion on this. |

I think you are confused. I think what you are refering to is a false time constraint (FTC). A false time constraint is used to get girls to lower their bitch shield by giving them the impression you are not there to stay. This means they aren't going to get into a long drawn out conversation with a boring guy and will give you a couple of minutes to talk to them. Of course by then you have them hooked on what you are going to say and forget you said you had to go. Your scenario sounds more like a chance meeting with a nice girl. There was a time constaint as the bus was about to come and you left on a high which was good. Be interesting to hear how this plays out if you contact her. |
