December 3, 2011 Field Report: Filthyhat and Ruggedized on Dixon Street So, tonight was my first real night of “sarging”, and I must say, it was awesome. Spoiler alert: I didn’t get any closes of any kind, I didn’t do much of anything right and I never once initiated kino. Kino is my next real sticking point to overcome. What I did do is cold approach at least five sets that I can remember, try stealth attraction on a few different girls (with varying results) and generally have a really good time just being social. With Ruggedized’s help I took huge strides toward getting rid of my AA. I had a lot of approach anxiety at first but Ruggedized would not let me get out of opening a mixed four set containing two guys and two hb8s (they were older and more like 6 or 7s but they looked like hb8s to me from the bar). I opened them with the gay opener and it went over really well. They all got into telling me all the ways in which I do not come off as gay. I was really nervous and I ejected almost immediately after with a pretty lame “have a good night” or some such. We bounced to the next venue and I cold approached a two set of lesser females at a table while Ruggedized was in the restroom. Gay opener again, they went for it. I forgot to use a false time constraint and sat down to try five lies on the cuter of the two, the obstacle blew it for me. Rugged was back so I ejected and went back to the table. Another bounce, another venue. This time Ruggedized made me cold approach a two set of hb7s at the bar. They did not think I come off as gay either and I ejected almost immediately again because I got scared or some nonsense. I’m really not sure why. I went out to the smoking section and tried five lies on a chubby 4 out there who had asked me for a light, she totally fell for it and it was a lot of fun. I think a couple of guys out there were trying to AMOG me but I stayed in frame. Venue Change and this time we went to a dance club full of some of the hottest asian girls you’ve ever seen. I tried stealth attraction on this gorgeous leggy blond HB9 that was dancing. She responded and beckoned me over to her. I went like an afc, but I realize now that I should have made her come to me. She was trying to get me to buy a drink for her friend and I refused. Her friend came over and tried to get me to buy a drink for yet another girl and I refused again. Ended up getting good kino from the leggy HB9 but those girls were really drunk so we changed venues again. The next thing I remember we were back at the first venue and it was totally packed. We went to the bar and I tried stealth attraction on every decent looking girl I saw. I tried to open one cute young blond as she was walking by and she held eye contact and said hi, she even turned around and started walking backwards to keep the eye contact but she kept on walking. I went back to the table but looking back now I really should have followed her or kinoed her or something because that was a definite and pretty intense IOI, and she was very cute, like hb8 or so. We got a table in the corner and sat for a few minutes. Ruggedized went up and danced for a song, time passes and I’m standing away from any table looking around. All of a sudden this short girl grabs my dick as she’s walking by. It was no accident, she straight went for that thing. Started up by my belt and ended up with a hand full of my junk all in the space of about a second. I never even saw her face it was pretty crazy, and more than a little erotic. I turned around and she was headed out the door with some guy, so I didn’t follow her. I was honestly pretty taken aback because that’s never happened to me before. Ruggedized told me to open a two set of HB8s at a table nearby. I used the gay opener again but a little different this time. They went for it okay but were pretty much ice cold. I forgot to use a time constraint again before I sat down, I think that might have helped with the bitch shield. Five lies did not work with them either and I was about to eject when Ruggedized came over and started laying game on the blond so I just kind of decided to wing him and keep the icy brunette busy. He was getting mad kino from the blond. At one point the brunette said something and he hit her with the best neg ever, “You’re kind of a bitch, aren’t you?” It worked and she warmed up a little. Pretty soon they went to the ladies’ room and we left the bar and headed home. All in all it was a really fun night and I can’t wait to do it again. I have identified a couple of my major sticking points (kino, routine stacking, closing of any kind) and gone a long way toward overcoming my AA in one night. There is no reason to fear approach, it leads to fun. I never did really get blown out but that's probably because I really didn't escalate. Having Ruggedized there to help me out definitely made me step outside the comfort zone, and I can already feel my comfort zone expanding to include approaching beautiful women. This is going to be a fun ride. In conclusion, I feel like I need to work on escalation, kino and routine stacking. I used the same opener all night, but again it was my first real night of trying not to be afc and I feel great about how it went down. I had really gone out just to approach and get comfortable doing so, which I did. Next time will be even better and with a little time I have every confidence that I will be able to close consistently. Thank God for this community, and especially for my boy Ruggedized for helping me. I feel like i may actually finally straighten out this part of my life. |
