I just thought i'd post this real quick because it made me laugh while I was out on Wednesday. I went out with my brother who also has had his life improved by the game. We went into this club where two of his colleagues where. They where both 21 and where HB7 and a HB8. I really just went out to have a few drinks after a gig but because there wasn't much going on in the club I thought... they why not try the HB8. Immediately when entering the club we saw the two, they seemed really excited to see us, one because it wasn't every busy and two because, well... we're cool! (I think) We hugged and said hey and went straight up to the dance floor for about a song. Later in the night my brother was spending time with the HB7 so I went and found the HB8, she was one of these girls we have all seen, someone who goes out with just entrance fee and gets AFC's to buy them drinks for a cheeky smile. When I came across the HB8 later in the night she had about 3 guys around her all bidding for affection. I couldn't help but laugh at this because a year ago I could have been one of those dudes. The area I found the HB8 in was a quite small part of the club and the dance floor couldn't have been bigger than 5 meters squared. I knew the DJ in this room so as soon as I walked in I smiled, fist bumped a few dudes I knew and went straight to the DJ. I requested one of my favourite song (Fountains Of Wayne - Stacey's Mom) and within about 40 secs it was on. When it came on the HB8 turned from the 3 guys and looked at me, like she guessed the song had something to do with me because I mentioned it earlier in the night briefly. So the song came on and she ran over to be, big hug again and the AFC's didn't look too happy. We danced and the AFC's danced near by, like they kind of accepted it but also they wanted to watch out for any funny business, like there investment was being taken from them, After the song ended I went up to the seating area in that part of the club, Must be room for about 6 people at the top part. The AFC's stayed down there and offered her more drink, I think HB8 said she wanted a vodka and coke so one went to get it, but as she said what she wanted she then joined me. We spoke for a moment and she asked me if I would get her a drink. In my head it sprang to mind that it was a classic sh*t test. I simply explained that I had never in my life bought a drink for a lady unless they had bought me one first, I said I wasn't like most guys. HB8 said she only had about £1.75 ($2) on her and she couldn't buy me a drink so I explained it wasn't necessary. Anyway so the AFC brought her the drink and she thanked him, she put it on the small table in front as he sat to the other side. HB8 then explained she needed to pop to the little girls room and would he watch the drink... AFC said yes as you would probably predict. As she left I pulled out my phone to check my messages and waited about 20 secs before going out of the other door not to make it seem like I am following. To conclude, later in the night I saw her on the dance floor again being hounded by the AFC's. At this point I was dancing with the girls I knew from the club on a previous night so HB8 immediately ditched the AFC's and came near me and after about a minutes worth of dance floor game I secured a K close. After I saw the AFC's faces, It was like someone told them Santa wasn't real. I felt bad for them but I also felt relief as I had once been like them. |
