First time ever approaching in my life. So I went out last night for the first time after spending about a week reading the related materials, MM and Magic bullets . The problem was the venue I was at was way way too loud, louder than I expected. I decided to give it a shot anyways, I wasn't going to stand around and do nothing. So first set I opened was a 3 set. I was basically shouting in an attempt to engage the whole group but one of the girls seemed interested enough to lean in and listen, the rest couldn't hear me well enough but they tried for a bit to their credit. After my opener /routine she started asking me where I was from and what not. Seemed to be enjoying it until her boyfriend showed up with her drink and he seemed threatened and made a point of kissing her in front of me, she kept talking to me though. At this point I addressed the boyfriend shook his hand and ejected. As a side note Later on I realized I recognized the boyfriend as one of the players on our college's basketball team LOL, he had at least a foot on me but his presence didn't phase me at all. Overall a huge success for my first ever approach considering i doubt the girl could hear all of my material. Second set was a two set, at this point they seemed to have turned the music up even louder! I yelled hey to get their attention. tried addressing both but only one leaned in to listen. She did not fully understand what I was saying. Seemed interested and lit up at first but went cold after a short duration likely due to the fact she couldn't hear well and I looked like a rambling retard trying to deliver material. Ejected frustrated as hell. Made solid eye contact with girls all night, third set was a girl who bumped into me, semi situational. She and her friend bumped into me and couldn't stop laughing and saying sorry, I told her it's $10 every time she touches me and she kept laughing. When I tried to deliver more material she couldn't hear and ended up wandering off. After this I left the venue after not even an hour frustrated for not being able to use my new tools due to the noise levels. I am very proud of myself for approaching at all though and trying to deal with the difficult conditions. |

So night 2, some of my friends were set on going to another deafeningly loud club but you have to deal with what your dealt has always been my motto... Where do I begin. Lost my friends almost immediately so I had nothing to do but socialize with random girls and anyone else in sight. Talked to a girl at the bar using the who do you think will get served first opener. She said she would cause shes known the bartender for years. Just a friendly interaction. She invested a lot of effort in trying to hear me. But I ejected. Again a verrry loud venue. I took a few deep breaths and decided to improvise on the dance floor and came up big! Three set dancing. 8,7,6 8 was my target. Pointed at the 8 and moved in. I'm a shitty dancer, I've never been on a dance floor in my life so I just clowned around until I found my hands around her waist. The friends were attempting to cock block so I started dancing with them too and having fun with them. Cheese eating grin on my face. Told her I was thirsty and I need a drink grabbed her hand and motioned the whole set to come to the bar with me because they couldn't hear me if I tried. THE WHOLE SET FOLLOWED. On the way to the bar I made an effort of high fiving and greeting everyone I saw so I looked like the man lmao. Bought myself a drink and told her I'd buy her a drink under one condition (I know this is not textbook but I was improvising.) She asked me what and I told her She'd see. When she got her drink I said it's time for my kiss and next thing you know we were making out. We went back to the dance floor for made out for about 30 min until her friends started to leave. I handed her my phone and she punched her number in! Guys I cant fucking believe it a legit hb 8! After that I was on top of the world. Approached another hb 8 after but got blown out instantly lmao. Doubt the number will turn into anything but again very proud of myself. Going out again tonight. Gonna go hard or go home. |
