Last weekend was my first time going out since I started reading about PU. I'd never gone out alone but all my friends were out of town and I was determined to put some of this stuff to practice, so I decided to go to this bar near my house with a live band and mini-dance floor. The girls were 35-45yrs (I'm 32 myself). I pulled about 3 different girls to the dance floor. I started well but found it hard to maintain the conversation, so I quickly let them go. Finally there's this girl (a 7) I start to talk to. She's there with her friends - 2 other girls and an AFC type guy. We dance, sit down and keep talking. I'm getting as physical as I can - touching, high 5, hugging while pretending to talk into her ear above the music. After a while, I pull her and say "let's go outside, I want to show you something". When we get out, I take her palm and pretend to read. I pull together some bs like "parallel lines means she's aggressive", words suddenly failed me so I tell her to close her eyes. I go for a kiss and got her lips - no tongue. I rinse and repeat, same thing. I then said "I thought you would be a good kisser", and she says "I don't even know you" and she proceeds to ask questions like "where do I work". Now, it's hard to explain what I do without boring the listener so I wiggle my way out of this and take her back inside. Turns out, the guy who came with their group had been looking for her. He came and tries to engage her, I sip my beer and act uninterested. When he leaves, she says to me "He's like my brother, always trying to protect me" in a "don't worry about him" tone. Long story short, he shows up again and starts talking to her, I take 2 steps forward and start dancing on the floor. She's backing me facing him, so I dance for about 10 seconds behind her, grinding a little bit - she's responding but keeps talking to him. I start to dance with another girl in front of me for about 2 minutes, when I looked back, they were both gone. I didn't feel bad or anything because this is my first time out, and the fact that I went in for the kiss was a GREAT victory by itself, considering how much of a wuss I used to be. However, I would really appreciate some feedback about how I did. I'm sure there are many things I could have done better. All criticism welcome Dave |

Why did you just suddenly kiss her there are many kiss gambits you could have tried? Did you introduce yourself to this guy friend? But well done man that was a good attempt. |

No, I didn't introduce myself. I figured she would introduce us, but she didn't. The kiss was kinda spontaneous. I was running out of things to say. Thanks for the reply |
