Post subject:  PTSD and gaming.

Hey guys this is a bit of a strange topic but has anyone here suffered from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and still managed to game?

I have been suffering from PTSD since getting back from Afghanistan last year but have recently in the last week started to have a bit of a relapse and its really affected my game. Now I know probably considering gaming girls is the last thing I should be worried about but i feel its stopping me from carrying out a big part of my life. I have been feeling agitated and had quite low mood but at the same time theres been pressure by my PUA friends to peform, however I feel I cant game sucessfully and have no congruance.

Does anyone one on here have experience in getting over low mood so they can game?

Yes. Time heals.

You should also go see a therapist. Talking about it makes it better.

Cheers. I got back from Afghanistan last year. I think we all had the same thing for at least a couple months, some guys had it more. Primarily the reason I got into the game, btw. Social Anxiety when I got back was through the roof. I couldn't stop looking over my should every two seconds from all the people around. Immersion helped, I went out every night of the week. I haven't seen anyone deal with a relapse though.

Talking about it never did shiat for me, in fact, just the opposite, I hated all those shrinks. Its good to have your bros you were over there with you around. They're probably dealing with the same things.
