Post subject:  Friend picks up girl I like
So some short background story. Semi-crushing on this girl and ended up being tired of not knowing if she was keen on me, so i just straight out told her that i liked her and asked to go get a coffee or something. She said that she liked that i was direct, but i shouldn't get any ideas though.

So i just got a msg from a good friend that has started talking to this girl and she asked him if they should do something this weekend.
When I heard this everything just broke...just don't know why, but it was so frustrating and sad...

So what do i do? I feel that i never get the girls i want, and it's really starting to frustrate me... I'm very social, love to talk to new people and not the shy one, but struggle with getting some action and it's tearing me apart...

The truth is not every girl is going to be into you, man. It sucks when it's someone you're interested in, but it's happened to all of us.

She very well may have had a thing for your friend before you even started with her, and that's why she shot you down to begin with. The way you went about it (being super direct) probably wasn't how I'd have done it but I think it worked for you and didn't have any bearing on her response - sounds like she just simply wasn't into you.

Don't give up after a setback. Keep at it.

Lots of girls out there. They make new ones every day.

i know you're right but i feel like i'm struggling a lot...any tips?
