Post subject:  My confidence is building through character.

I really need to emphasize that I am new to the pua community and actually new to pua all together. I've always wondered why girls don't seem to be that interested in me all my life. I never really found myself to be that unattractive honestly. I'm 21, 6'3 weigh 175 and I'm groomed well. I know now that its my confidence that's driving people away.

However, after reading multiple pua books, I feel more confident. Not only because I found the books to be inspiring, but because of how it made me see my confident side as more of a character rather than a change in myself. I can not stress how important that has helped me.

I created the alter ego "the Con-man" from a childhood name that people used to call me (cause my name's connor). However, I always had the connotation of "con-man" being like a kids nickname until I realized what a con-man actually means. It seemed to fit because I always had a dark side growing up. A side that always enjoyed deceiving, manipulating, and tricking people around me.

I also need to state that this is a side of me, not who I really am. I was just really good at it. Although, one day I decided to get rid of that kind of person. After that point, my confidence started to dwindle and I felt more depressed, more doubtful of myself.

Finding out about Pua and it's community has really made realize how little I thought of myself. It made me remember a part of what people liked about me in the past. I now put on this character whenever I talk to people and the difference is amazing. I feel more interesting, more exciting to talk to. I would like to express this to people who are also having trouble with there confidence in hope that it helps.

My thanks,
Con-man
