| Post subject: | High Pitched voice? |
Hey guys, I'm 17 years old, nearly 18. And the problem I have with talking to people is because of my high pitched voice. Whenever I approach a girl, the concious thought of the 'voice' is always there, so I get nervous and my voice becomes all croaky and so, to the point where the girl goes 'What did you say?'. I put on a deep voice after that, which gives me a lot more confidence because I can talk clearly, but this is not my original voice. Can you please suggest what I can do, this is really effecting my chances of meeting and talking to new people etc. Thanks |

Confidence is the answer No one is perfect. And no one expects you to put on that false deep voice for the rest of your life. Just be confident while talking and you'll be fine. Ps: if you are going to try change your voice do it gradually. Start by speaking slower and maybe try control your pitch when talking, step by step. |

here-vp416490.html#416490 maybe this post of mine in another thread can help you. what i don't get is how can you be sure that a deep voice isn't exactly what you're missing? i'm not saying you're wrong. everyone has their rolemodels and if yours aren't typically very deep sounding then why would you? just saying this is unclear to me. |
