Hey there,

I'll get right to it.
I'm a 24 year old white man with dark brown hair, 1.84cm tall (about 6.4 in feet I think), but I'm pretty skinny.
I am working out to gain mass, but before I gained the mass that I'm aiming for, I want to look a bit stronger. No better way to do this by clothing (already fixed posture).

What kind of clothes should I be wearing to look like I have more mass -I want to look stronger-.
I'm thinking upper body clothes, stripes, dots, colours, anything that would help really.

Thanks in advance!

The fastest and best way to dress better is to emulate guys with your body type who get the women you want. Learn to dress to impress. I like to stick dark colors and fitted clothes that make you look slim.

Casual-smart is usually best. Don't peacock, or if you must peacock then peacock 'subtly'.

Jeans should be tight fitting but not skinnies. There shouldn't be much distance between the jean and either side of your knee. Don't wear down low, like your trousers are about to fall down but down pull up to your belly button either. Jeans should fit just under the crease of your hip.

Shirt: something nice, something snazzy. Keep it ironed! Again, make sure it's a tight fit: the crease shouldn't go past your shoulder and don't button your top button up or anything.

Also, nice (formal) shoes and use matching colours. Dark is good but bright colours are good if you're going for that peacock vibe. If you really want to peacock, a cowboy hat should do the trick. Fuck it, cowboy outfits in general are pretty damn sexy if you're going to a fancy dress or just going to the club and want to stand out from the crowd. Sometimes a suit works at the club. A t-shirt/casual is fine too (depending on the club). Just don't go dressed like a tramp and take your jacket off unless it's a really nice jacket and you don't want it to get pinched. Generally just don't take a jacket on nights out though: man-up and take the cold.

Hair-wise you can have an unusual peacocky haircut. But generally speaking short looks good on guys: short back on sides, square on top is what I usually go for. Check out these barber terms:

- choppy vs straight
- natural/tapered vs squared off

There's an article on this on the artofmanliness. I also recall Dr NerdLove has a pretty damn good fashion article.
Also check out what size you want your hair tapered to (I normally go for a three).

Thanks for the tips! I'll be sure to check out those sites and styles. Think a visit to a good clothing store and asking for help there might be a good thing for me.

My hair is pretty awesome btw, always people want to touch it, cause it is pretty peacocky. Not in a bad way, I get complimented about it. It is very thick, so I got the sides short, but the top is a lot longer, which I wear in a bit of a controlled messy way. My peacocking is usually through shoes and hair.

However, I was hoping for specific advice to help me look physically stronger through clothing.
Does any of you have any specific advice for that?

Oh yeah I'm a little bulky myself, the key is not to wear anything too baggy, if you want to show your muscles. But unless you're fucking shredded you don't want tank tops or vests either. Something like tight fitted shirts, or tight fitted t-shirts with sleeves that go half way down the bicep are good. Some of my t-shirt sleeves are a bit sticky uppy and it makes me feel a little self-conscious because my arms are not THAT great. So don't go for those. Hope this helps.

edit - sorry just read that you say you are a little skinny. But I personally would still apply the above suggestions because unless you're going to wear a jumper under everything you wear, in fashion it is better to go with than against. And if you ARE a little bit toned, tight-fitting will be more revealing of what you DO have. In short,

Shirts > t-shirts > tank-tops
