I don't know which forum this question belongs in... it seems everyone else can hear what everyone is saying. If I'm at a bar I can only hear some one that is a foot from me, but it seems people can speak in a low voice and hear eachother, but for me I can barely hear anything. Of course I can hear music playing, bar tender asks me what I want, can hear that...

In a real case scenario, there might be a group of girls 2 feet from me, they get pissed off because they think I'm ignoring them. Really I can't hear a freakin thing!!

Has anyone run into this problem?

Of course. Bars and clubs are loud!

Use this opportunity to lean in and talk closely with girls... Almost kissing distance is generally fine, but you're going to be tilting you head to direct your voice to her ear obviously.

You can kino when you do this. Hand on the back or arm or shoulder is a good one.

Wear a good cologne.

I have really bad hearing (rebuilt ear drum in my right ear, its bad, bad, bad).

I've had the same problem as you. Girls would say something, I wouldn't hear, think I'm ignoring them. Or they will say something and I'd make them repeat it two times.

Sometimes girls get frustrated that I keep saying "what? I can't hear you." When they get bitchy about it, it's the perfect opportunity to knock them down a peg.

Girl: Dude I just told you!
Me (very disapproving tone, raised eyebrows like she should be ashamed of herself): I'm very hard of hearing, I had surgery for it.

Just play on it.

Lean in close like CharlesFinley said. Use your bad hearing to make them get closer to you to talk.

Fun Fact: Howard Hughes was nearly deaf. He was a ladies man galore.

If she's feeling you one of my favorite things is to place her hair behind her ear to give you better access to her ear. Again if she's feeling you this can make her melt.
