Post subject:  Need a great fashionable watch

Right now I wear a really cheap $10 watch from Walmart and I really want to get a real men's watch. I don't want a peacock watch. I want something stylish that I can wear both at work (office job) and while gaming. My budget is around $100-$200.

I am thinking of something like:

MICHAEL Michael Kors 'Jet Set' Sport Bracelet Watch

Or Men's Stauer Chrome Monaco

What you guys think ?

Diesel makes decent watches (And I've found that women like the fact that you're wearing Diesel). This is mine...

What do you think though about the 2 watches that I posted?

Honestly, I think they look like every other metal watch I've ever seen. There's nothing distinctive about them. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but IMO if there's nothing special about it then it's not going to get noticed and then you mind as well save your money and buy a 10 dollar swatch.

If they fit in with your style then go for it... I like the second one better out of the two... I just don't think most people would notice them.

haha... peacocking doesnt mean that the watch has look ridiculous so that it stands out... it just means that it has to be noticeable and possibly a dhv... [obviously a nice watch will attract more attention than a sports watch]

honestly i liked both watches... i don't know if the diesel is the appropriate look for the office if you're in a shirt and tie...

fossil makes some nice watches

The price range you're looking for you can get two fossil watches, one for the office and one for when you go out.
I do like the disel watch, and women do notice them.
The two examples you got, are average at best. Nothing special really.
IMO a watch with a wide leather strap and a matching leather wristcuff on the other hand is the way to go.

Wow, I've been looking for a new watch too.

That Fossil Zane Watch on page one is exactly what im looking for. Not too pecocky but still stands out.

I've also been looking at overstock they have a lot of choices with different price ranges and a lot of savings.

What do you guys think of Movados. I love their styling and sophistication. I wonder if most women would really appreciate it for what it is? hmm...

Movado is a nice watch.
If it compliments your style, why not.
Than again, my landlord wears it with jeans and a sweatshirt and it doesn't look bad.
It's mostly older people that I see them on though.

This is on of mine. The strap is black, and the background on the face changes from black to brown, which is cool, I can match a wrist cuff on the other arm with it.

Does that fossil goe with a tshirt and jeans or do you need a more peacockish outfit?

Shirt and jeans is just fine for it. Any wide leather strap watches are made for that look. It's casual because of the handle and the stitching but sophisticated because of the hands.
It's not gonna bring down a more peacocky outfit either but it's not really for a shirt and a tie look though. Watch with a metal bracelet would fit that a more.

I've heard of the clocks that do that, but not a watch.
If you find one let me know, I want one too!

Kenneth Cole watches are pretty versatile. I got one, and they usually run anywhere from $90.00 to $125.00 (very affordable by comparison). My buddy bought a really expensive watch and always gets pissed when the ladies comment on mine. I would opt for the less expensive, unique watch, which means stay away from the metal bands. There is nothing wrong with the metal bands, but I see a lot of them out there. As a PUA you want to be different from the norm.
