| Post subject: | Shaving headhair off. tanningbeds? |
So I´m going to shave my hair of my head. My skull will be rather pale though in comparison to the rest of my face. I´m assuming that tanningbeds is a good solution for this? Does anyone have any tips for how to get a good balanced tan when you have just shaved off your hair? Also, are there any special clothing tips for bald guys like future me?[/quote] |

its a good question - Ive been shaving my head for about 8 years now (hairline's receeding) Ive been told that I look like a BJ Penn doppleganger so Im not much help on the tanning part of your question I have noticed that I got a lot more attention when I was an fit bald guy, regardless of the clothes I was wearing. |

I have pretty long thick soft hair that girls love to run their fingers through... Never been bald before so it will be fun to try it out:) definately not a common look for well dressed 18 year olds so I wouldn't be surprised if this got me more attention. Just have to solve the whole fairy tanned face - skull white skull dilemma. |

I'm not sure how you planned tanning only the top of your head. I'd recommend a buzz-cut for a while. That's what I wore before I started shaving my head. That way, the contrast won't be noticeable. Then, when you get some color, do a shave. |

Thanks for the advice, I would be doing that but I need to shave because I lost a bet.. Besides, you don´t get any color in Sweden
