I have experimented with loads growing up;

Stay away from all over the counter spot creams in my experience, Clearasil etc is all rubbish...

Sudocrem is your best friend, only use it at night though and when necessary as it can really dry out your skin.

Also, what I have found has has the biggest impact is acne lamps. I have been using this one for a year or so and after a few weeks noticed huge differences. I have to use it 15 mins a night but I have clear skin now, its amazing.

Im new so cant post link but search for Lumie skincare lamp in google.

Figure out whether your acne is hormonal or a result of diet. Perhaps you're allergic to a certain type of food or you eat like crap. You may not get a "peanut allergy" type reaction but from some food (many people with gluten) cannot process it as well and it results in acne. Change up your diet, eat healthy, lemon + water won't hurt. If it still persists, seek a derm. You may need some pills to help control it or get rid of it.

Buy anything that has Salicylic Acid in it, Salicyclic is the best chemical for acne.

Additional things you can do:

-Buy a daily clenser
-Buy an exfoliator and use it 2-3 week.

Don't wash your face more than twice a day, clean your hands before applying anything on your face, and pat your face dry don't rub it.

Other than that you gotta sit it out. In the UK there's a cream called Germolene which is for infections in cuts but it is unbelievable at drying out spots on your face. I woke up one morning with 2 fat ones on my cheek and was going out that night, I absolutely raped every anti-acne thing I own and Germolene was the most effective and the spots were barely noticeable when I went out.

I have tried a number of things for my mild acne problem that I have had for the past 6-7 years, OTC, Rx, you name it! What really worked for me was baking soda! Try it. ITs cheap, easy and effective

Stop touching your face!

Also, I've found that drinking lots of water helps.

Clearasil: crap, DO NOT EVER BUY IT! THEY GIVE YOU MORE ACNE!!

My advice: go see your doctor and tell your problem (or he already notices)
I got some kind of alcoholic based stuff to put on my face, and had to try it out for 2 weeks. Didn't work for me.

So he prescribed me medicines. Every day i had to take 1 pill for 3 months long.

PRO's :
- If you make it a daily routine to take one with dinner, you won't forget to work on your acne problem
- Easy to take
- I didn't have to pay money for the pills (health insurance)
- When you stopped the medication, you won't have to worry acne anymore in your life.

CON's:
- Your lips will be dry for 3 months, and look shattered. Sometimes your lip will be rip in the middle which hurts.
- You might get a deppresion from the medicines (at least that's what the description said)
- Because of the fact that your lips are dry, especially during winter, you cannot kiss any girls in that time.

RESULT:
I used to have at least 25% of my face covered by Acne. So much that people made fun of it. It were 3 hard months, the fact that my lips were dry 24/7 is not cool. BUT!: The results are TOTALLY WORTH IT! I HAVE NO ACNE ANYMORE! It's 3 months since i stopped the medication and not a single thing can be seen anymore.

Got to your doctor and get him to make an appointment with a dermatologist, the derm. Will give you some pills which you will take, they're called Isotretinoin and they have devastating side affects, from dry lips to deadly infections, kidney and liver failure, but the result is almost a guarantee, you will stop getting acne and some of the acne scars and marks are slowly going to dissapear.
