Stop trying to lose weight. Work on being stronger and more atheletic. You will “lose weight” and get the body you want in the process.

Eat good foods. If you replace the garbage with quality food that your body can actually use, you won’t be hungry for the bullshit. Not all carbs are bad. The key is to be balanced. Typical “body builder” diet to start with is 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fat. If you’re not leaning out like you want, cut down to 30% carbs and add some more protein. It’s all about finding what works for your body and lifestyle.

​Calorie intake is based on age, height, weight, muscle mass, and activity level. Use a BMR calculator on bodybuilding.com to figure out how much you should be eating each day and break it down into the proper P/C/F %. Just search for it on the site, plug your information in and there you have it.

Drink ALOT of water. NO MORE POP! NO MORE BEER! Alcohol destroys testosterone levels. Testosterone is crucial for building muscle and burning fat.

Lift weights. Muscle = Metabolism. The more muscle you have, the more fat you’re gonna burn through. Plus, if you’re training to be atheletic and strong and eating healthy, you can’t be fat.

Moderate amounts of cardio will help too. 20 minutes of really pushing yourself is better than an hour of going half assed. Make your time count in the gym and actually push yourself.

Keep track of your work outs… Not for the body building aspect. But so you know exactly where you stand from last time.

The biggest mistake I think most people make in the gym is just finishing their work out or even doing a “feeling” work out where you just do what you feel like. If you’re trying to out perform yourself every time you hit the gym, you’re going to naturally build the body you want and “lose weight.”

I agree with you :)
We should focus in the diet.
I choose avocados, guavas and watercress to be my main ingredients in my diet.
They are all rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals which are great for health and for those who want to lose weight.

build muscles...more muscles you have, more calories will be burnt by your body because of your metabolism.

btw. ... ist better to do hiit than common cardio exercises (look at sprinters and look at long distance runners).

Yes. You are right. I applied this method to lose weight for myself when I was in high school.
As for me, the most thing is drinking a lot of water and the next is controlling the diet.
I used to choose brazil nuts and edamame. They're very useful and nutritious so I do not need to worry about lack of nutrition. You can see details about it:
