I actually think Wilt is by far the best player of all time.

That's understandable considering he was arguably the most dominant player of all time. However he played in a league with only 13 teams and never won a championship. I feel a player can't be in the top 5, let alone the top spot without accomplishing the ultimate goal.

A good list. Basketball is always tough due to the different positions (a baseball list is easier since pitcher/hitter lists are often separate). Moses Malone is probably the most underrated guy on that list - lots of younger fans aren't at all familiar with him.

How can Russell be above wilt, just becuase of championships which is a team effort not just a single player? Wilt crushed Russell head to head and in just about everything.

Hahahaha I play basketball and I think is very funny find this subject in this forum. Wilt would dominate today's game, but If I would have to built my best 5 (all of them in his prime) I would go wiht:

PG - Magic
SG - Jordan
SF - LeBron
PF - Duncan
C - Shaq

No one would beat that! :D

i wouldn't put barkley that high. dirk, stockton, and isaiah are definitely better players than him. i also don't think shaq is in the top 10. nor would i put moses malone that high. but other than that it's a pretty solid list.

My top 10:

1) Michael Jordan
1) Wilt Chamberlin
Yes. That's a tie. Jordan has all the rings, but Wilt was pure domination.
3) Dr. J. aka... Juluis Erving
4) Karl Malone (every time Jordan won a scoring title, Malone was second and top 5 in rebounds. Malone could rebound AND score)
5) Bill Russell
6) LeBron James. Love him or hate him, he's got game.
7) Shawn Kemp (Yes, I'm talking pure talent, here.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4WHabTgrNA
Look at some of the names he's schooling in that video: Barkley, Jordan, dunking on Dekimbe Mutumbo.
8) Magic Johnson
9) Shaq (Was dominant as hell in his prime.)
10) Daryl Dawkins. (I love watching him break backboards in old videos.. He used be able jump and grab quarters off the top of the backboard. One of the highest verticals ever in the NBA)

I do not agree, there is no doubt that Jordan in the first place.
Active Duncan, ranked Bryant, James three.
Curry and James who is stronger this year'?
