Post subject:  Best car for a PUA?
I need a new car and I'm looking at different possibilities. Anyway, that made me think - what makes a good car for a PUA?

I've heard some guys say that macho alpha-male type cars are good, but others say that that just attracts geeky guys and that women like "cute little cars".

A lot of guys on PUA forums say it doesn't matter - it's your game that matters. I agree with that, but I still think that some cars are better than others and that's what I'd be interested to discuss.

I've been looking at a few different models:
  • Merc SLK (cute and sporty but I've been told it's a hairdresser's car?!)
    Saab convertible (bigger and nice)
    Lexus IS (more of a "man's" car, but maybe a little boring?)
    Audi TT, Porsche Boxster... (ok, ok, nice but getting a bit expensive now)
Anyway, what do you guys think? What makes a good car for a PUA?

This is a very important purchase.

Boys love there toys.

Firstly.

Forget about all this pua bullshit and get the car you want.
Unlike that HB 10 that may be a bit tricky to get.
A car is all about choice.

They say everything about you.

I own several. Old classics and modern greats.

And yeah. Merc slk. poofs car.
Along with most convertible cars.
Avoid new mini (girls car)
Avoid new beetle. (girls car)

By the way.

Any type of pick up truck is MANS transportation.

This is my advice here if you can afford to do it.

By a cheap bmw 3 series 318is. red/black (r reg) for your general runabout.
This is for rear wheel drive fun and frolics in the rain.

And a modern fiesta. (The newer the better)

Thats it.

Basically young girls today are not into guys with flash wheels like they were when i was younger.
I am not saying an audi tt won't work on young 19 year girls.
I am saying you don't need it. (solid inner game is all you need).


Most guys i grew up with were heavily into modding cars.

Old fords mostly and vw beetles.(1980's)
However. These cars suit 30's guys like me who grew up with them.I have a connection with these cars unlike the new ones.
And don't forget a lot of older guys have a lot of hands on car mechanical skills that are only useful on OLDER CARS.

Modern cars are a nightmare of high tech wizardry that cost the earth when they go wrong.

But as for what car is best for pua.
Depending on the sort of person you are i could advise towards a certain type.

Example.

For art student/hippie types.

VW Bettle. (old)

Lastly

I would avoid scooby wrx type cars. (big power turbo)

Unless you really want one.You will have to put up with 15 mpg.
Depending on your comute to work that could cost £400 a month.
O.k. you can get one for 2-4 k.
But they are bastards to fix. 1500 for a clutch.
and all 4x4 cars eat tyres.

Get one when you are older.

From my personal experience (I don't have it anymore) look into Porsche Boxster (986's are cheap now). If you like cars then take the S version. It's crazy fun. If you need it just for pickup it'll still turn heads when you arrive to the club/bar.

Edit: I have to write this. Car won't help you get girls. Like the guy before me said get a car that you'll love any enjoy. It's probably 1% improvement of your game. Get your inner game straight before relaying on your car. I tested this to extreme. You can roll in Lambo and you won't get girls if you don't feel like million bucks.

idk i think the second post covered it well but...

i personally will recommend bad boy vehicles

meaning old mustangs, camaros, trans am, and if possible a 70s charger

also motorcycles any type except mopeds and enduro are great because it shows you're dangerous and u don't care

and YES i agree a TRUCK is a MANs transportation but don't get a super lifted truck (unless thats what u really want) cuz most of the bikers and smaller truckers will amog you and tell you "are you trying to make up for something?"

but remember pick anything you want but avoid the little bettles, mini coopers, sebrings (they break down very easily i know cuz i'm a mechanic and i'm looking out for you and your pocket on repairs) oh and family vans like the aerostar and such, unless you are trying to show that your ready to star a family and want to settle ASAP... in other words needy... then don't get one, any other car is great

I have own 7 cars...
1. 86 Monte Carlo
2. 91 Caddy Fleetwood
3. 00 Jetta
4. 91 E30 coupe
5. 91 CRX (yes it was a rice box)
6. 96 Pathfinder
7. 02 Accent (current)

I got the accent for the gas mileage and to give my self an excuse to by my 2010 GSX-r 600 now that is a panty dropper

As for the cars the E30, Monte Carlo and Pathfinder worked wonders on the females! Just dont forget to buy rims for what ever you get, not those flashy ass chrome ones but some nice clean black with polished lip ones. As for your car list they are all girly bro! Maybe the IS but take a look at the IS-F that is one dirty car!
But again any Bimmer will do the trick E30-E-90.

Thought about something else today. Anyone had a 2-seater sports car and had logistics issues... ie. trying to move to another venue but couldn't because you couldn't bring her friends? Trying to figure out how much of an issue that might be.

I agree with the above posters, choose a vehicle you'd want to see yourself in, because basing the sole outcome of your hard-earned mula on "pua" is pathedic. I drive a 08 titan my dad left me when he died a few months back, a lifted cummins on 24" strellas and parellis and finally I bought an 08 yamaha r1 from a friend with 800 miles on it custom orange with halo's and strobe LED's for 5k. The bike works the best for girls, the cummins for advertising my business and towing and the titan for long trips and cold season. All of which I choose to keep cause they serve me multiple functionality, chose to buy for reasons other than pu(though the r1 straight up spits better game than mystery) and all of which are perfectly suited for my life and personality. Keep your current wheels, go with the r1, r6, rr600 or the gxr 6 or 750 for economy, adreniline rush and not so bad for your intentions either ;).

As a girl, I agree with most of the guys here -- cars won't help you get girls.

Well, it might help you get the wrong kind of girls that are only interested in digging some gold...

Get a car that you're gonna love to drive every day and most importantly, a car that won't let you down or leave you stranded in the middle of the highway. :/ (Had that happen to me... sucked. Especially since my cell phone died that night... >_< )

get a ford pinto, a fucking kia hybrid, its doesn't fucking matter. choose a car that will work for you,

I have a 2 seater sports car and about moving venues... they came there by themselves. let them go to the other place by themselves. Having a 2 seater is an advantage. you can isolate your target and continue chatting on the way there. This is probably the only reason having a sexy car may help. Dont get me wrong having nice cars as you mention is awesome, but i think you want it for your self and not just to pick up chicks. consider having a nice car as a cherry on top
