I'm 35 years old and been partying my youth away, sure I had hobbies and interests but I never dedicated enough time to my finances. Looking to keep my head down for a bit and live from a more organised grounding. Some things I am working on: I have two blogs, one of which is for my interests eg. PU and Self-Help, the other is for my photography. They say 'Content is King' so I'm posting as regularly as I can. These are side hobbies that I will hopefully increase side income with. Has anyone any experience with blogging for money? I just want to say, I'm not planning on making a full time income from blogging yet.

Blogging can be great, but usually, people make them without money because they enjoy it.

If you make a blog with the idea of getting income, then it will take a long time and often people leave it because they were into blogging for the wrong reasons.

My advice is if you're doing it anyway, make sure you are focusing on something else too, around that. So one day, things might kick off nicely for you, but do not bank on it being an over-night success.

Some books I HIGHLY recommend:

- The four hour work week

- The fast lane millionaire

- Crush it

I would recommend working on some nice educational plan that will lead you to a steady income job, while you work on those other things on the side. Those things that most anyone can do will be very difficult to make good $ ie blogging.

Read some Gary Vaynerchuk books, he has a lot good stuff in this regard
