As far back as I could remember, I was always sharing my bedroom with my little brother. Now that my family is moving into a larger house with more bedrooms, I can finally have the room I've always dreamed of.

But the one thing I'm not so familiar with pickup is what to put in your room that'll make it more exciting for the girl I bring home.

For example:
• Floor: Wooden or carpeted? Wooden floor with a rug?
• Pictures & posters: What kinds of pictures should I hang around my room? (Land/cityscape; two girls kissing?)
• Wall color: warm colors or cool colors?
• Should I add a lovesac? Or are they not hip anymore?

Also, other than Ikea, what other store offers cool stuff for a room?
• Spencer's Gifts?
• Home Depot?
• Lowes?

I'm open to any suggestions :D except for stripper poles.

The bed is most important, it needs to be as big as you can fit in the room, preferably kingsize, but a double will do. As long as it's clean and tidy, you should be fine. Consider a purple or red theme. My curtains, bedsheets, cushions and rugs are purple and girls always comment on them.

How old are you bro?

I forgot to mention one critical detail about my room: it has no windows, so I can't get curtains, unfortunately. I'm gonna measure my room and see if I could fit a full-size ("double" in your area?) bed. It's a long and slightly-wide room, so a king would be a stretch. The floor's wooden, so I'd like to put a carpet somewhere. I'd think Ikea would answer all of my questions, but is there another store PUAs would go to for their stuff?
