There is this nerdy HB7 who used to work as a temp in my office,under my supervision,till about a week back. At office, our interaction was mostly work related, except a few details about her personal life, likes etc. A few days before her last day I gave her a book to read (she said she liked reading), with the intention to use it as an excuse to meet afterwards. On her last day, I took both her (and another male temp I had, so it doesn't look obvious) to lunch as a thank you gesture. Later, before she left, I gave her a thank you card for all her work, with my no. in it (I know! I am sorry!) She had brought the unfinished book to return, but i told her to keep it. I also got her number and said maybe we could meet afterwards, to which she said maybe when I return you the book. Later that weekend I tried calling her..to no response. I texted the week after and she replied that if I wanted to hang out it would be fun if we invite the other guy (temp) too! Since I have absolutely no interest in meeting this COCKBLOCK I replied back saying that 'it would be as much fun with just the two of us as I really think we enjoy similar things...and we don't have to call it a date!'
Its been a day since then and she obviously hasn't txted back.
