"I'm sorry, i just cannot take someone who looks EXACTLY like my ex seriously.."

Say you approach a set, give her a weird look as if you're considering something about her, and then talk to her friends first without acknowledging her- then when she opens her mouth deliver the line.

You can make it even more believable by adding something like- "except that she's a brunette..". it falls in line with the PUA idea of telling girls things they haven't heard before, allows you to enter her reality instantly while being in control of the frame by getting her thinking about all the things you must have done with this supposed doppelganger, and wondering whether you're mentally comparing her- or even whether you might be interested in her because she looks like her. meanwhile you're just taking it in your stride.

you also instantly have the exact required social value in an instant- because if your ex looked like her, she was also exactly as attractive. it even gives you a sense of instant rapport with her because all the rapport you "supposedly" had with this ex you are now allowed to transfer onto her- in a playful way, almost skipping the initial attraction faze, and certainly it opens up the interaction so much- and it becomes easy to play off it well into middle and even endgame.

so you can ask her questions about herself to "make sure she's not playing some trick on you" and you can even pretend you think this is her (your ex)'s desperate ploy to get you back. all playfully said of course. you can then build great rapport off it while keeping the playful tone-
sample dialogue:
you (pretending) "hey so how's that writing career going for you?"
her "er.. actually i'm studying marine biology.."
you (playfully) "oh wow! dolphins and shit right?.. that's cool. you were so passionate about the writing though, what happened?"
her (playing along) "oh yeah.. you know, i did want to do writing, but then i thought, those dolphins are so cute you know?"

you can then keep using the whole "she's your ex pretending" for almost any scenario, even pretending to compare the two girls, particularly effective in sexual innuendos-
*she bends over*
"oh yeahh.. i can DEFINITELY see the resemblance NOW.. *cheeky grin*"
but as Mystery states if you use too much playfulness she'll see you as a "funny guy" and the fake rapport you get off this only goes so far, so sometimes actually take her seriously and let her know you aren't actually seriously comparing her to your ex either.

and lastly during endgame you can tease her once she takes clothes off by making comparisons, or even during if you feel like it by jokingly comparing technique.. or if she doesn't want to do a certain thing with you say "ok.. i DEFINITELY know it's you NOW..".

note: this takes a lot of tongue and cheek and at no point must she feel you're seriously comparing her to your ex or you'll come off as a weirdo.

This definitely sounds interesting. Though what would you do if later this turns out to be a LTR and she asks to see pictures of your ex?

Just for all the AFCs out there reading this post, NEVER talk negatively about a woman's body, especially after she has taken her clothes off to you. Don't compare her to another woman naked, either. Even if the other woman is Angelina Jolie. I don't care. Women are extremely self-conscious about their bodies.

I use almost exclusively cocky-funny. I don't want to say I'm an expert, or the best, but I am very experienced and pretty good at what I do. This is not something I would ever attempt, as you will 100% screw up your relations with this girl, and make a fool of yourself.

Now, just once in a while commenting that she reminds you of her ex, fine. Good stuff. But be careful, and stay away from the above!
