Hiya, Sorry for another NooB question, but man I'm so stuck on this one. Often girls neg / shit test me with 'are you gay' or 'i thought you were gay' How do I come back to that? I don't really know why but I seem to come across this way. I'm ok with it really, I've learned its just who I am and although I'm open to improving myself, its cool. I've made a big list of common negs girls throw my way 'your skinny, I don't like guys with beards' and I've come up with responses for every one except this one! As a side note, I have my own theory on calling a HB on her shit tests. Its something I've borrowed from politics called 'rejecting the premise of the question.' Are you gay? The premise: You're not that mucho so let's see how desperately you defend yourself. So how do I 'reject' the premise, preferably in a funny, lighthearted way? The best one I've come up with is just calling her shit and saying 'What? Gay? Whoah, you're gaydar is so off. What other amazing insights do you have?' Feels weak though. No punch. Kind of a generic way to reject everything really. |

Why....do i look gay to you!? (little bit pissed off/annoyed) In this way...she knows that if she says yes...she wil be in a shitty position, because you obviously don't like it. So you can throw in a good neg. If she says no, than she will also be in a strange position because than it's a pretty awkward question in that case. With u can use to neg her. (Wooww, do you always ask this sort of weird questions??...you're strangeeee duddeeee) (with a smile offcourse) In both ways the conversation turns to you're advantage, because you will put her in the vulnerable position instead of yourself. Now she is the one who has to give the "correct" answer. |

Just say you are gay. She will feel comfortable and be more interested in you. Then escalate and get into a position to makeout. She'll be excited cause she kissed a gay guy. You could build it up saying you have never done it before. Then hang out at a later date. Eventually you can tell her you were full of shit. This is if you don't mind being gay for a bit. Personally I'd reply with a rather casual, maybe even chipper "Nope!" then find a suitable way to prod her for why she asked, for example try something playful and comment: "It's because I'm fabulous isn't it?" and strike a dorky fashion pose. |

Since I'm a newb, I thought I'd test my 'natural' responses to negs/shit-tests... other people had similar responses, but this phrasing came to mind. *Obviously look her up and down, smiling with joking tone* "No, but for someone as convincing as you, I'm openminded." I figured this would be a cocky-funny neg, which would immediately negate it by turning it around and either make her laugh or start qualifying to me. Depending on her response, I could use one of the earlier negs about her intuition ("so much for women's intuition!"/"is your intuition always this bad?"). |
