So you opened successfully but then i fin it hard to transition into mid game.. a personal experience i had

"Hey what are these ribbons for?" ( their were ribons at the party)
"oh ... blah blah"
"cool"

-----
The opener here is done, i cant just say ...
"yeah so whats ur opinion, should women know how to cook?"
can i ???!

should i introduce myself and then ask for an opinion on something? and where should i put the time constraint in?

thanks alot :D

I usually open then introduce myself, then go for convosation, and before u do anything u shoud evaluate her if she looks like she is in a rush go for light playful convosation, light kino, number close... really alot of this matters on what kind of situation she is in... some situation she might have more time to convosate, or even have a instant date... but advice for convosation, really things too talk about are everywhere from the news to the enviroment around you, too stupid things, to how her day has been, shitload of things...

Basic rule that never really gets discussed in "t h e c o m m u n i t y"... don't be wierd. Imagine if you knew the person for 5 years. What would you say after asking about the ribbons? You can do a cold read about what kind of party gal she is based on her reactions to ribbons. Talking about cooking at this point seems out of place, without some sort of reason for bringing it up. You can always tease, etc.

Brain freezes.. suck. Will pass on to you what someone passed on to me. Have about 6 back pocket openers. An opener is essentially something that stimulates convo. So, even after you've opened, if it locks up, throw the next "opener"....

You.. "what's the ribbons for?"
HB.. "for blah blah blah..."
You.. "Oh.. you seem pretty festive... or are you someone I should be careful about?"
HB.. "blah blah blah..."
You.. (throw next opener).. "tell me about you, what's your passions?"
rinse, repeat

i have this exact same issue.

i made up a great opinion opener based on something that happened to me, but after the the girl's excited response, i always seem to run out of things to say about the opener or dont know how to transition to something else, so i end with "thanks for the advice"

Although, I used it today on a HB8 waitress and i said "thanks for the advice, by the way what was your name?" she gave me her name i gave her mine, but then i was stuck.... i could tell she still wanted to talk because she kinda hesitated to turn and leave. ill be following this thread, definitely.
