Hi guys,

So ive been chatting with this girl on SPAM for like 2 weeks. We have had one dated and kissed, 2nd date scheduled for next week.

However, her way of texting kinda annoys me. Sometimes I ask here some question where she is if she shows me a pic of her drink. She only responds very shortly with some stupid bullshit, not answering the question.
In general, I would say we have also been flirting on and on, I keep things light until the second date. Sometimes shes responsive, sometimes not. I think there is some kind of interest.

However, because she isnt really giving me much info its hard to keep the convo going. Any idea what could be going on or how to deal with this?

Why are you trying to force a conversation? This is the kind of stuff that ends up making you look desperate with women.

Well, I am not constantly trying to force a conversation. But if she sends a pic thats she doing some activity and I just ask where she is, it would make sense to answer that right? This happened a couple of times already.

Should I just shut up after that message? I mean it is natural for me to ask that as I was interested.

Understand that she's thinking about you when she sends that stuff and that should be enough for you. Trying to get into her head when she doesn't respond the way you would expect is a waste of your time when it's obvious that the girl likes you.

That's a slightly stupid question to ask. If she's sending you a pic of a drink on the table it's pretty safe to assume she's out. But asking her where she specifically is, like exact location is almost like you're checking up on her. The next question after that is "Oh yeah, who you with?".

Yes I understand, but for me the underlying problen I think is more that shes giving me mixed signals.

I have dated a good amount of girls and they were always talkative on SPAM. Now I have no clue what this girl would be thinking as I dont get much info. This makes me think that her priority is somewhere else, but she has agreed to a second date.

Not really I think, I try to keep things light and to tease her a bit. However, that quickly ends with some once sentenced reply from her side.

After that I dont send anything, and she also does not really re initiate. This confuses me, because girls in the past would always react. We still have a date scheduled, so I have no clue what is on her mind. Should I just wait till she initiates?

Having a date scheduled doesn't mean anything.

If I schedule a date now, and over the course of next week weird her out, she's not gonna text me canceling the date. She'll simply flake.

1 word answers, or otherwise not trying to hold conversation is clear lack of interest.

Rather than respond with 20 questions, ignore the text or reply back with something witty or funny. Asking where she is screams "I'm bored to death and have no life, can I come follow you around?"
