Girl flirts all night with me, but she was there with two of her roommates who were already seated and not really saying much.

Guy throws down his credit card and orders rounds of drinks for them and "whatever they're havin'", pointing to hors d'oeuvres all the way down the bar. He has an Apple watch.

She talks so much about how she feels a connection with me and that she just met those guys that night, and that she was running to the restroom and would be back.

Later, she returns, and after some banter, she says "you know, I don't think we're really compatible and I don't think the group over there is really into this conversation"
(the conversation was about the city and area).

I call her out for being pretty shitty about making a statement like that within earshot of her friends and everybody instead of just doing it discreetly, she apologizes and says I'm right I turn my back and go back to the bar to finish my drink and close out my tab.

Lord, why on earth would you get angry? You realize you could have kept this playful and maybe got her back right?

Something like "yea, we'd never work out, it's too bad you're not my type, I usually go for the more adventurous type".

That's right, spit that mid 90's Mystery Method Game! Maybe I'd even call her my little sister and tell her how we'd never work out because I wouldn't take her shit and she wouldn't take mine.

Oh the humanity what are they teaching these kids in these seminars today!!

LMFAO!!!!

I don't care what Mystery says, in that situation, that line would have gone over great. You only have a few options. You can get upset and be a little bitch about it (which is what you did, props on that), you can chase her some more, try to convince her that you're a great guy, or you can be playful and turn the tables.

Dude there is always going to be resistance because we live in a society where girls don't want to be seen as slutty or easy. That is why it is extremely important to plow through. You overreacted, and you should have held your frame, and of course kept your playful vibe.

You guys aren't getting it.

She ended the interaction. She said "I think we should distance ourselves now. I don't think we should talk anymore." - and turned to her friends. If I had stuck around I would've been harassing her. DC is very strict about that stuff. Bouncers would've grabbed me at the first sign she had a problem.

Yeah, run that mid 1990's game. Even though she's asked you to leave, do ...*The Cube!* that'll shift the currents for sure!

Pull the little sister routine on something like that - let me know how it works out for ya.
