Hi, I didnt speak with this hb for a while and now while texting her she wrote "Yeah.. I just broke up with my BF and moving to another job" Should I respond to the BF issue (how?) or ignore it and respond about the job? Thanks. |

LJBF alert!!! By getting sucked into a conversation about her breaking up with her ex you risk to become a sexless friend/unpaid shrink You can respond in a humorous way "The gods are smiling... my odds with you have improved" or "I make a great rebound guy" or "Great, when do we go on our first date?" or whatever... But let her discuss the details of the split with her GFs, not with you... You are not a shoulder to cry on over her ex... Good luck! |

Dude she is signaling you in no uncertain terms that she is available and possibly down to play. Invite her for a coffee or drink ASAP. |

Next time when a target says "You're funny" you could follow with "I’m funny how? I mean funny, like I’m a clown? I amuse you?" (this is a famous quote from the movie "Goodfellas") if you think she knows the quote... But that was just a sideline... you have achieved your goal in this particular case (avoided typical AFC behaviour of asking about the boyfriend and treated situation with humour), and you should now switch the conversation thread towards something fun and exciting that you will be doing in the near future (going to a concert, a short road trip, some extreme sport, whatever...) gauge her interest in one of these activities and get her to join you. This would be a "non-date" but still a way to get together and an opportunity for you to game along... enjoy and good luck! |

She gave you an unbelievable opening w/ the bf thing. Stop texting her back & forth and get her out before another guy moves in (which has possibly already happened). As the post above this one says, ignore the bf crap and take control. |
