I was outside in the smoking area leaning against a railing. AN HB9 walked out, she had a fag that she was struggling to smoke because it had a hole in it. It looked funny. I looked at her smiled and laughed. SHe came over and initiated conversation. Then her two mated also HB9's came over, and I was boxed in by them, which must of looked pretty awsome for pre-selection purposes. I chatted to them for about 10 minutes. Then later on I saw them in COco Tang, they saw me, one of them came over and kissed me on the cheeks. Then her mate, a nice tall blonde came over, smiled and said "are you stalking me". SHe was being playful. For some retarded reason I decided to chuck in a neg. I said "I have standards". She actually didnt even hear me the first time, and leaned in for me to say this. It really did not go down well. The mother goose reared her ugly head straight away, and was like "WHo the fuck do you think you are". I was actually tempted to shake her hand and introduce myself at that point telling her it was a pleasure but decided against it. But from that point the whole dynamic with the group changed. I managed to rebuild a bit of it, I tried talking to the HB9 and she brushed me off saying she had standards, I told her "Good I respect a woman who has standards", she smiled and seemed OK. But the mother goose chased me off. So lesson learnt now. I have always known what a neg is. But I have never really fully understood the concept of when and when not to use them. I now know, from experience, once you have the green light off an HB, dont use them. Damn I want to kick myself in the head. But I put it down to being an educational experience. I learnt more from making that mistake than I have from reasing it in a book. Please feel free to call me a chump. |

hahahaha all I can say is 'Ouch!' Actually you can still say 'I have standards' in such a situation, it's the delivery that matters. You must convey that you're joking with a playful smile on your face. They seem to take it very seriously and took offense. But I wouldn't that too if I were you, you should have qualified her, then playfully disqualify her later in the interaction for push-pull. It's all right to fail, failures provide good learning experiences. They don't make you a chump, you're only a chump if you didn't even trying in the first place. I failed numerous times too it when comes to negging. I tried negging in college on some shy girls, and they took offense and I killed the interaction. Most importantly is work on your instinct on when to use them and when not to use them. |
