Post subject:  Girl Wants to Hook Up
Last night, I got a text from the girl whom I like, asking if I want to hook up with her.
But she was drunk (report from friends) when she sent that.

This morning, I sent her this reply: "You're hitting on me when you're drunk?? Come on now :)"
And a while later, she texted me back and sounded a bit confused and upset.

What should I do?

Let me get this straight.....You like her, she wants to hook up and is very forward about it so you send a text that makes her feel uncomfortable with her feelings? Why wouldn't you send a text stating that you missed her text but you should get together for a drink today at your place or for her to come watch a movie or anything that invited her over to you place so you could isolate her. I get that you were trying to be funny with you text but I think you tried to hard when the situation didn't call for it.

She was drunk when she sent it, and I didn't think that just saying "yes" would have been a good idea.
(when she said that she wanted to hook up, she was asking if I wanted to be her boyfriend)

But yeah, we've made plans to meet later :p
