Post subject:  Opinion?

I want your opinion....

Today, was my first day trying to get a #, since I can't remember.
I was eating at a restraunt and the waitress, was very attractive.

When she asked, do you need any thing else, I said a Hi 5 and raised my hand to position, she said "sure" and gave me one.

After paying the bill, I wrote my name and number on a napkin and wrapped it in the tip.

With 6 minutes, after leaving, she text me and said, Hey randy it's (name) from Logan's. Then sent another text and said Hi Five!!

I responded about 30 minutes later, with "I take it, that made your night a little better!"
She hasn't responded yet, but she was at work when she text me, and just recently got off, I think.

Was my response a bad move? How can I recover from it, if so?

Firstly, good job on taking action and for trying.

There could be some interest from her since she took the time to reply to you.

Your reply was meh though, it could of been way better.

"I take it that made your night little better then!"

You could at least put a question mark in there, overwise the explanation mark just conveys that you are so excited about her reply and want to fish for a compliment from her. It's a tad needy IMO.

I would wait a day, and if she doesn't reply, send her this message:

You- "hey name, what trouble are you up to today?- Randy"

I know it sounds boring since there isn't any gamey crap built into it but at least it requires a response and take if from there if she replies.

You dont want to keep sending her texts whilst she is busy at work but you also have to strike whilst iron is hot.

Good luck.

Feel free to keep posting up and I will do my best to help, I'm pretty good at texting.
