Hi all, I met this girl about two weeks ago on an online Asian chat app (weChat). Let me tell you about her and myself first. She is a 20yr old Chinese student in her first year of uni. She is pretty, tall and a very sweet girl. Shes only been in Australia for 3 years so her English is not great. I think she's a great girl and would make an awesome girlfriend and eventually wife. She works on the weekends. I am a 23yr Chinese student who is about to graduate and start fulltime work in two weeks. I have been in Aus for over 15 years (so there is abit of cultural difference between us). I talk to her mostly in Mandarin, although I'm not great at it. We have been dating for the last two weeks and it's been going great and at a fast pace but just yesterday she told me that she likes me but thinks that I won't have time for her when I start work. Now before you say shes just finding an excuse to get out, I'm confident that she really does like me and that her concern is genuine. I will work mon-fri and she will work sat-sun, the only times we'll be together is at night times. I honestly think this will suffice because I have a lot of other things going on in my life. However, for her it's different - she won't have much to do during the weekdays and might get lonely. I'm not sure how I could convince her to stay with me. I could just find another girl but I really like her and want this to work out. Lately, we've been talking to each other over voice recording chats because we both have exams. And she mentioned all this last night, I tried to convince her logically that I'm a good choice for her (bad move, I know). I didn't get a good nights sleep last night because I was thinking about this all night. What should I do? Should I ask her to see me tonight after she finishes work and get all this sorted out? Because I can't stop thinking about it. And is she feeling the same way because it just feels as though she cares less about this than I do. What should I say to her to keep her with me? |

Just talk to her bro. You are looking for a magic line that we can't give you. Just open your heart and tell her how you feel about her. Tell her you are willing to do whatever it takes to make it work. (but don't be needy about it obviously) Goodluck bro. P.s. When you say you have been dating for a while, have you had sex or even kissed her yet? |

hmmm, second base. She says shes the no sex before marriage type - which I don't mind. I've told her that I will spend all my spare time with her but shes still hesitating. |

Well I'm confident that I can her to bend that rule in time. But yeah for now I have no clue what to do. Maybe I just have onetitis tbh. |
