No idea what to talk about

Post subject:  No idea what to talk about
I was at a nightclub on the weekend and, after finally building up the courage (I have had AA issues before) i approached a HB9 and a HB8, said my opener but then ran out of things to say. I know hbs like to talk about travel, future plans, hobbies and all that shit, but how do i [b]switch[/b] the conversation to a [b]different topic[/b] without it sounding fucking retarded?

Also what are some other good topics which are good to talk to hbs about?

Most people don't care about how topics are related as long as they are entertained... Be an observant guy and just start talking.

Hey bro. I'm not any good at this stuff, and I only started out recently but I read in a thread somewhere that you should make a list of 10 qualities you want in a woman.

For example (my list):
*respectful of other people
*feminine
*is very passionate about a certain thing in her life (be it music, dancing or whatever)
*caring
*can fully enjoy the moment
*confident
*not naive
*not selfish (selfless)
*unique in her own way
*adventurous

Screening for adventurous
Ask her wether she's been here before, and be a bit playful. Ask her something like "So you thought it'd be fun to come here, or did your friends have to drag here you here? :P".

I'll try to find the thread for you where this is explained.

...You get the idea.
Only way to get good at this is practice, practice and practice.

Try doing some cold reading, guess things about her, cold reading can be very interesting and it's a great way to change the subject after your opener. However you may have to study up on psychology and personality types.

Just keep doing it over and over and over.... After your first couple approaches you will have the comfort level where you wont be worrying about what to say but instead how to direct escalation and close.

Neil Strauss was able to keep a conversation about dental floss going with hb10s at one point.

Ask them questions and listen to them. If they say something silly or a little dumb (and 99% of the time they will) poke a bit of fun. Honestly though, guys get too hung up on what to say and forget that listening to their bullshit and having good body language (relaxed shoulders back, leaning back, cocky smile, etc...) is far more important. Listen to them, as in actually pay attention to the shit that come out of their mouth, then pick out the gold and you will be fine.

My biggest problem is when they don't shut up, but been watching some of gamblers vids on YouTube, he's got some great advice on what to do when that happens.

You are only in trouble if they stop talking to you and start ignoring you. Then it's time to walk away.

It's not about what you say, but how you say it.

Give off a comfortable fun energy, and be entertaining.
