Stumbled upon this awesome site when I was looking for texting advice and it has actually been so helpful. But now i can't really find the answer i'm looking for.
My question is, there's a girl who I met completely randomly a few weeks ago and one day I just decided to message her. Keep in mind this is fb, I have her number but i'm just talking about fb.
My first conversation was extremely lame and she just left at the end, so after like a week I messaged her again and after that she actually started to enjoy talking to me. I know her pretty well now but we don't talk incredibly often, so I'm wondering what I should do.
Sometimes we talk on back-to-back days and others she'll never message me and I'll just have to message her myself to get a conversation going. She replies in a second if I start, and we have a regular conversation.
Over the past few days i'm just starting to feel really needy, and even though I know she's really popular and she expects people to message her first I don't want too. Problem is I can't get her out of my head, and as soon as I see her online i just message her impulsively.
Now I feel really needy and I want her to notice that I can't always be starting conversations. I told her this to her face once and she messaged me the next day.
I know i've REALLY dragged on, but how do you guys go "cold-turkey" on a girl when you want her to notice you're gone. I really just can't help it, i went like two days once but then i just gave in. Any advice on how to ignore a girl who always waits for you to start conversations?
