Hey guys, Stumbled upon this awesome site when I was looking for texting advice and it has actually been so helpful. But now i can't really find the answer i'm looking for. My question is, there's a girl who I met completely randomly a few weeks ago and one day I just decided to message her. Keep in mind this is fb, I have her number but i'm just talking about fb. My first conversation was extremely lame and she just left at the end, so after like a week I messaged her again and after that she actually started to enjoy talking to me. I know her pretty well now but we don't talk incredibly often, so I'm wondering what I should do. Sometimes we talk on back-to-back days and others she'll never message me and I'll just have to message her myself to get a conversation going. She replies in a second if I start, and we have a regular conversation. Over the past few days i'm just starting to feel really needy, and even though I know she's really popular and she expects people to message her first I don't want too. Problem is I can't get her out of my head, and as soon as I see her online i just message her impulsively. Now I feel really needy and I want her to notice that I can't always be starting conversations. I told her this to her face once and she messaged me the next day. I know i've REALLY dragged on, but how do you guys go "cold-turkey" on a girl when you want her to notice you're gone. I really just can't help it, i went like two days once but then i just gave in. Any advice on how to ignore a girl who always waits for you to start conversations? |

You just have to force yourself to stop messaging her. Keep talking to her at wherever you guys hangout and she'll notice and want your attention. Game other girls and don't become fixated on this one. And don't ever ask her or mention to her to message you first because that does make you look needy. |

So that's basically it, just try to forget her? I can't really read her, she's dying for me to meet her everyday next year cause I'm moving into her neighborhood, but she's unpredictable. Sometimes she'll message me outta nowhere saying she's sorry for not replying, and then go on and talk to me for hours (to the point where I wanna leave). Kinda sucks cause I don't wanna ignore her, but then I feel like an idiot when I message her and she doesn't reply Maybe I just need someone to yell at me to stop talking to her |

Or call her. Or just set up a meet up time to hang out already. Otherwise GFTOW is always a solid idea when you're not sure. |

man, i hope you given her somekind of hint that your not looking to be her friend but that you actually are interested in her. otherwise ur fucked... setup something, say ur going to the club or something (best enviroment for me) and get it going there. Its very very easy to escalate in a club... cause in the back of every persons mind they know they came out to find a partner... |
