Ok so I feel like a bit of an idiot posting this but I figure I haven’t much to lose. I have a dance social tomorrow and my usual dance partner has friend that has come with her from the start. I quite like her friend and would like to try and get the opportunity to see her outside of dance classes one a week. We do talk from time to time and she always seems quite interested and certainly laughs and most of my jokes(not even that funny ones if I am honest) so I am taking this as an IOI. The question is how do I broach the subject of seeing her outside of dance classes and getting her number without it being weird or coming across to needy. I also guess I should be asking first whether she has a boy friend or not since I have never bothered to ask(although she has never mentioned it either) Any ideas would be great. Thanks Raven |

Use an opener. Easiest way to strike up a conversation. Ask her opinion in something (since you;ve talked to her before, this is easy). Once you've struck up the conversation, make sure you have a time constraint. before yo leave ask to continue it at somepoint, she'll say yeah/sure/whatever. You then ask for the # and its done.I have a dance social tomorrow and my usual dance partner has friend that has come with her from the start. Thanks Raven DO NOT ASK IF SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND. you completely show your hand by asking this. |
