| Post subject: | Quick IOIs without Direct Interest |
Ok so my wingman is away for the weekend and I usually confront him with these quick questions but one of my best friends, had her two good friends from the city, come out to see her tonight and she kept urging me to drink and come out with them. Despite the fact that I have a slight cold, I decided since my weekend will be rather boring that I might as well have a little fun on a Saturday night and head down to pre drink with her and her 2 friends. I had quite a few pre drinks before I got there and began talking to the BFF who was getting over a break up with her boyfriend just recently. I have no interest in this girl but she kept sending out IOIs and commenting on her ex bf. I began to notice her body language and the way she stroked her hair and smiling at me constantly and realised one of her friends from the city who had came up had a slight interest for me. I joined in a friendly game of kings cup with her dorm and her friend without even asking grabbed my beer and had a quick sip of it. That was the first IOI while I was in mid conversation with a guy who was leading the game. The second came halfway through a waterfall minigame where I was suppose to stop sipping my cup but looked across to the this girl who gave me a wink before finally I finished my drink and everyone stopped the waterfall. Unfortunately by this stage I was on the hunt for a third IOI even though now, I am aware she sent me many IOIs throughout the night and I ended up losing her when I went downtown clubbing. My question, although I am kind of shy and can open girls easily, my mid game and demonstrating value seems to be lacking. A close mate of mine says I have enough looks but it only gets you so far and in the end it's up to you to decide where to LEAD a girl. I'm looking for some advice on this situation and the best way to handle future encounters. I run into this situation quite often with IOIs and quick signals been sent off between lectures and pre drinks from women at college and I never understand how to tackle the situation. I have read "The Game" watched Mystery and Vin Di Carlo but I find by the time I enter the mid game and demonstrate value that I somehow disbelieve my accomplishments or choke in the situation and begin to make up excuses to leave. This happened earlier tonight when my target took my drink and drank it and I had to go back to my room and get some more drinks. I made an excuse to leave because I felt under pressure and had butterflies in my stomach and probably sent out DLVs while I while I went back to get more beers. |

I am exactly the same, i always seem to escape from situations that could lead to something due to being super shy and not wanting to make a move and be rejected |
