I'm guessing that this girl is really trying to get me, but I'm so not sure. We've been talking for some time, in fact I already know this girl for 2 years now. But we did not have contact for like a year. Now for the last 2-3 months she is nothing but trying to have contact with me through the internet. Before we didn't really have much contact in real life though (Nor internet), only very casual and I never was really interested in her at all, but I did open her pretty good at first which was the reason that she talks to me in general. Anyway I'm pretty hard to her (Ignoring statements like "You will miss me" ect) and she's really trying I guess. Whatever I say, she accepts and talks on, really whatever I say she keeps on going. Constantly sarcastic lines like "I hate you" and "Ah you won't leave me because you'll miss me". Normally I reply with "haha" or I plainly ignore it and open a subject (if she hasn't done it already) I can really safely say that she wants something from me. But if I try to corner her she takes like 100 steps backwards and she turns in this hard-to-get-girl but keeps on trying to get my attention. What is up with that?! Am I in the friendzone? If so, how to get out? She made me fall for her really bad haha. I want this girl! Couple of things that I like to add; She likes to chat with me (she said so) She doesn't care (atleast she said so) wether I like her (Not sure if this was sarcasm or not) She wants me to miss her. She thinks it is good that she cannot offend me. Also, I asked her out and she said "Why not??". But it's really some distance to meet her, so I wanna make sure. That I have a chance because of this friendzone. Please advice, thank you all! [update] I fell for her and I think she is a HB8, but before this I thought she was like HB6-7. I have never told her that I think she's gorgeous! |

A good example I wanted to show. She said one time that a relative of mine has much better taste in music than I have, sarcasm for sure. I didn't act on it and she said she liked it that I never get offended or mad at her. Then I explained her in one line that I cannot imagine her any different and she said that she REALLY wants to know how I imagine her. She wanted to know "badly!". I said "I know you just wanna hear that I like you, and that you are a great girl" and she replies "Hahaha no not at all" "I don't wanna hear you like me, tell me something else". I'm going crazy, bonzo, nuts, totaly insane, two fries short of a happy meal! If she only knew that I'm 'not' getting mad at her, hahaha. She knows that I like her, we even had a small conversation about having a crush, and I told her I might have a small crush on her. Also I said "I know you have a small crush on me" which she ignored with a "haha" so she did not say she didn't have a crush on me. |

Subbed for answers. I have a similar scenario going on but nothing has escalated for enough reason to hop on the train to see her. |

Not to be a dick or anything but this sounds like a classic case of oneitis. Especially the bit where you found her hotter recently. If you haven't been out recently sleeping with a lot of women, this is probably oneitis. It doesn't matter or not if you're in the friendzone. Just grab her one day and kiss her and see how she reacts. It's natural for her to show some resistance but you just need to sus out if she's just putting up ASD or if she's just not into you when you do this. |

In this case you said you can't see her without traveling to her. My only advice what I myself would do in this situation is be honest and tell her how it is. " You're cute, and I like you. I'm gonna come over to your town soon and we'll hangout, how about next week." Depending on her answer you will know if she likes you and also you'll be able to escalate. Good luck |
