I often meet girls through my friends and there girlfriends and stuff! I met 4 new girls this weekend at my buddys house at a small get together where we watched movies and played board games.. I can easily make girls laugh and giggle and stuff with my cocky funny sense of humor, But I find it hard to actually get into talking about them and finding out more about them and also getting their number! I also find it kind of hard to DHV sometimes, it just seems like they dont really care! How do I get them to start thinking "this guy is really cool" I have plenty of friends and im a pretty cool guy !

You said you wanted to look cool, then be cool, be life of the party. Don't give to much attention to the girls, have fun with the boys and the girls will notice and start want attention to.

Now.. you were asking how to learn more about them, how to ask their number, its really simple, JUST ASK. What do you want to know about her? Which school she goes to? If she has siblings? Just talk to them and ask.. There is no magic about it

Negs and DHV routines can only be effective for so long before the girls catch on to the repetition and begin to get annoyed and just see you as a dick rather than a potential partner.

Try showing your more passionate side on things and start talking to them in a way so they can take you seriously. Just take it slow and before you know it they'll open up to you. Its that simple.

i sometimes start to talk about things that i am passionate about.

granted, i've changed a lot in the last two years or so, but previously, after hearing what a girl had to say, i'd often alter what i thought to better match what she is saying. while this works in some situations, it led me to feel as if i was trying to assimilate myself into her thought process, which is retarded.

so to stop myself from doing that, i'd flat out lead the conversation by talking about what i want to talk about. while ultimately, a balance between the two might be important, this to me was a good thing to practice for several reasons.

first, you weed out girls who aren't interested in what you are interested in. i prefer being with girls that have some degree of similarities with me, or at least share some hobbies/values.

second, it teaches you to be more confident in yourself and what you like, which is a very useful quality to have. do not confuse this with the "i-don't-give-a-fuck-attitude," as they are similar, but not the same.

third -- and this is quite tertiary -- if you say it first and she follows along with you, this ultimately puts you in a stronger position.

and last, if you talk about things you are truly passionate about, your fervor will more often than not draw them in and help them to open up and talk about things that they, too, are passionate about. you have to pay to play, man.
