| Post subject: | Advice on DHVing a cashier |
Im new to this! please take the time to read and respond: I have a kickass job in industrial EMS. Most of the time I'm on standby, but sometimes I get sent to a nearby burger shop to pick up food. I got my eye on one of the cashiers there. To keep it short, I'm not sure how to DHV or build attraction. I'm not sure about running a routine on her, if I should, any suggestions? I know Ill be going back to the burger place soon. Any advice? More into detail: So this chick is a cashier at a "Wataburger"(fast food restaurant) Im in night shifts, and she normally works when I get sent to pick up food. Ive been going for a couple of nights now, and she's the cashier most of the time. last time I went, if forgot to order a coke for one of my buds. She overheard me speaking on the phone about the coke I was about to order while she was attending another customer (She was listening to what I was saying on the phone!) She gave me the coke while attending the other customer. I filled the fountain drink and got back in line. As I paid, she said "you should have just left with the free coke." I responded: "cool, then next time you owe me a free drink!". I'm not sure if this was an IOI, but she remembered me last night when I picked up another order. Before I even said anything, she asked me if I wanted my free coke! She definitely remembers me and is probably interested. I get sent to that place almost daily. What would be the next step? DHV? Qualify? HOW? any routines for cashiers? any advice would be appreciated, thanks guys. |

Step one: exchange names Step two: small talk her and use her name Step three: Tell her she seems cool and she should give you her number It's literally that simple. Why make it more complicated than that? It's a burger cashier for pete's sake! |

next time you order.. "[hey] my favorite person to see, how's your shift going?" (in a playful manner) |

well thank you guys for the responses, but can you please elaborate? I don't understand how asking her name and using it is going to DHV. I guess you want me to jump to rapport building? should I assume attraction at this point? |
