Post subject:  Stuck in texting midgame/
So I met this girl on pof she's probably a 7.5 or 8
She gave me her number after a few days and we started texting
I was building rapport by being comical and making small talk blah blah blah
But one night after a fairly decent convo this happened:

I summed up in a comical way I was tired (from staying up an talking to her the night before)
Her: hahaha I think she's a keeper (referencing herself)
Me: eh idk I've had my fair Share of crazies. Your just biased since you like cotton candy (she likes that shit and I used it as a reference, it was also met as a neg)

She stopped texting me. I texted her the next day to cancel meeting up with her
Since I've told her I was gone on a business trip but in reality I'm doing work release jail and was using pof to pick up chicks while I'm on the inside(I get out in 5 days thank god). I'm thinking about tossing her out since it seems like she's trying to freeze me out. The afc in me wants to hit her up but I'm playin it cool.

Btw I owe her coffee since I lost a bet to her...
Give me some thoughts fellas!

Not enough information here to tell what's really happening. Seems like she was flirting with you on that last text. If you're just coming out of jail I would make sure to brush up on your skills. I wouldn't throw her to the side though. Go for it and see if you can get her to meetup. Otherwise, hit the towns hard and start approaching and getting more of your social skills down so you can meet more girls!

Your just coming out of jail? Hmmm, no comment.

To the point, usually texting is primarily for arranging day 2s- however, if youve not even met the girl as you met online I guess you need to build rapport more than a "live" pickup so to speak.

Texting is one of those things, where one person can read something and take it one way, another can read the exact same message and take it the opposite. Calling a girl crazy/mental etc has to be done in the right way. You should have dropped a " ;) " in there to take the edge of it and make her realise IMO. As silly as it sounds, that can make the difference..

Because getting a girl to talk about herself/ her and you in 3rd person is usually a good thing in my experience. ( It takes pressure off her and allows her to give a little more away I find)

Now thats what I would have done... its one little thing, maybe it would have made the difference....

As for what to do now. Without knowing more, I wouldnt worry too much, cancelling your date could make her more convinced you actually think she is a crazy ;)

However if you owe her a drink, you have an in there... Your not in a rush by the sounds of it, so set a time when you can text to rearrange, maybe a couple of days after your out of jail, give yourself some time to sort your own shit out.

Go with something playful, "Hey crazy cotton candy muncher! When are you taking me out for that coffee you owe me? ;)"
Short, to the point, playful, half referencing your previous message you could have taken wrong, and letting her know how to take it...switching the tables on her to take you out, assume shes the one chasing you by doing that. ( But yeah, if you owe her, when she says its the otherway round just go with it).

I've only been in for a month it's not that bad and its not really actual jail since I can leave and go to work and what not. It's pretty much adult time out where I've learned to improve my poker game lol.

She never text me back when I told her I was canceling I also threw in that the crazies comment was a joke and texting always takes the fun out of playful sarcasm. I checked her FB and I think she just got out of some relationship. But I was a dumbass today after a two day freeze out and hit her up saying "I'm goin to coffee with some friends there's a cup for you if you want to join" and still didn't get a reply

I think this one is a lost cause and I need to move on to the next
